I wanted some Potato Greens and I did a Google search and Wologisi Restaurant came up. Let me say the food was absolutely wonderful! Sunny did not disappoint! The Potato Greens came with Beef and/or Chicken. I also got the Fish (bone in) with Plantains. O.M.G!!! If you are looking for authentic Liberian Cuisine, I recommend Wologisi. Not only was the food delicious, the owner and chef, Sunny was so kind and sweet and she provided the best customer service that I have received in a very long time. I will be returning frequently. Thank you!

Great food…staff very nice. Once my food was not prepared correctly and when I called they were more than happy to replace it and make it right. Ox tail is amazing.

They serve an excellent gyros….better than most in Louisville. The lamb/beef was served hot and seared. Another refreshing thing about this gyros is that it is not an oversized portion. The fries we’re also hot and crispy. The service is prompt and friendly and the place is clean. (the picture doesn’t do this gyros justice. Most of the tzatziki, lettuce and tomatoes are under the gyros meat)

I got the oxtail, and asked for more broth because I love how hearty it is. I believe the wonderful lady’s name is Sunny that helped me out. I’ve ordered oxtails from them at least 4 times. Always tasty!

Just came here for the first time because I wanted to try fufu. The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating! She talked to me about what fufu is and the different types that are made. I ordered the fufu and pepper soup and palava with spinach. The food was delicious and she brought a water bowl to clean my hands with, as I was eating the fufu with my hands. The tv was a little loud but she was very kind and turned it down when we asked. Very much enjoyed the experience!

If you dig home style (and ethnic) cooking, skip the gyros and falafel and go straight to the African entrees. Just outstanding stuff… we had the chicken stew and another dish with beef in potato greens over rice. Both were delicious. The owner/chef will guide you.

Walked into the restaurant at 8:42 pm and the young lady pointed to the clock and told us “we’re closed”!! How can businesses be supported and service like this is available! The bad part is this wasn’t my first time eating there! My first experience was the complete opposite, I asked the owner (Ms. Sonni) if I could taste a couple of dishes and she told me to take a seat, gave me a bowl and towel to wash my hands, and she came out and ate with me! Didn’t charge me anything and I told her I’ll be back! Well, after the service (or lack there of) that is now up in the air…
