The Koffee Kup Restaurant was a great experience. Modern and clean inside with a wonderful friendly staff. The Ciabatta Sandwich and the fruit bowl were both fresh and delicious. There is parking around the back but definitely not for low sports cars. The entrance and exit angles are awful. There are plenty of other close parking options.

Great local breakfast spot! Our table had a variety of options. Highly recommend the cream cheese cinnamon rolls! Apparently they are in great demand though, so ask early to get one before they’re gone! Great pancakes, homemade quiche and biscuits and gravy. Delicious raisin bread French toast.. my new favorite! Love the Irish omelette and also the “garbage” potatoes!
Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed before major the breakfast rush even, but they handled it! We were taken care of promptly with no errors, which for a Saturday morning was amazing! Corned beef in the Irish omelet was just delicious, best I’ve had!
This was only my second time here, definitely lots on the menu to keep coming back and trying more things! Great place for sharing with visiting guests to enjoy some simple, homemade comfort food. Best by-the-kup “koffee” refills, too!

The waitstaff here was very kind and helpful with different things on the menu. The service was quick and we got everything we ordered. The food here however was just okay. The hash browns were a bit cold and for the most part flavorless. The other food we had was good however. I would give the biscuits and gravy a try here for sure. The coffee here is very good too!

The place was very clean and well taken care of. Just look at the tips of the ketchup bottle! That takes loving care and dedication. The coffee is good and food is fresh. Just look at the berries! They came to refill our coffee Just at the right time. It’s not commercial like so many breakfast places. None of that “was frozen too long” smell from the meats. It’s not like a Michelin star but it is just right.

BEST hash browns I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfect breakfast overall. The Susie special was really tasty. Everything tasted fresh. Not pictured was very fresh fruit cup with nice variety of fruits and a very tasty quiche ordered by my breakfast companion. Place is very clean. Coffee was good! We WILL be back.

A staple of the downtown Lake Zurich. Fantastic, quick service. Standard breakfast diner fare, with some great lunch options as well. We surprised our son with some of his friends for his birthday. The staff was amazingly helpful, and even coordinated his friends coming in the back way, and also brought out a big slice of cake and a candle to celebrate. A must stop while in town.

Simply one of the best local restaurants in Lake County. Food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and engaging. A regular and must stop for us now on when in the Lake Zurich area, but also worth the drive for breakfast.
