Popular local bar. Decent food.
Came here for a snack and to look inside. Nice bar. Good selection of beer and spirits. Ample parking but does get busy!

I’ve been going to the BBB for years, and through all the various owners and additions, I would have to say our last visit was the best. While some may say it’s lost its “charm”, it’s good to see it’s cleaned up and the food was great- reasonably priced, came out quick, and best of all flavorful. If you’re in the area, stop in! (Glad to see the support for MKE’s Lakefront Brewery by serving two of their beers on tap).

The crawfish soup was amazing. The shrimp basket did not disappoint. Well cooked but not greasy. Same with the onion rings. Homemade bread pudding for dessert…Just wow. We’ll done highly recommend.

Friends and I enjoyed a great evening at the Boulder Beer Bar…Super friendly staff, fun atmosphere and Great food. And as a bonus live music with Nashville musician Colin O’brien. Fun Fun Fun! We had Pizza, Fish Fry, Caesar Salad with Chicken and Shrimp Corn Chowder – all items were great – the Shrimp Chowder = fantastic. I highly recommend BBB!

The staff, the chefs, and the management were all amazing. We showed up with about 30 Mustang’s and well over 50 people having dinner. This would easily overwhelm most places, but they were right on. Food was amazing and came out quickly, drinks were good, so kudos to the bartender. Our waitresses were awesome, and definitely earned their money this night. They didn’t stop, always attended to our needs and didn’t miss a thing. I’ve never seen a place work as flawlessly as this. My hats off to all the employees! Great job everyone!!

Stopped in for lunch and cold beers after a few miles of bicycling the trials… Mid-May on a warm Northern Wisconsin Wednesday. Jen told us to grab a table anywhere, so we settled at one in front of a large screen showing the afternoon Brewers game versus the Guardians.
She ordered the Smoked Chicken Philly: toasted hoagie, Smoked Chicken, Bell Peppers, Onions, Provolone, Chipotle Aioli with a side of waffle fries and a cold diet cola…
I asked for the “Frenchest of Dips” (Smoked): Marinated, smoked and shaved prime rib on a cheesy-toasted hoagie with Au Jus. My side was the smoked baked beans. And they were outstanding! The hoagie was stuffed with prime rib smothered with melted mozzarella and the Au Jus was steamy hot awesome.
Service was quick, attentive and Wisconsin friendly.
Everyone inside seemed to be enjoying themselves as we did and left full. BBB is a top-notch joint in downtown Boulder Junction, and you need to stop in as well!

Love this place because of the food. We’ve tried a number of fish fry spots and this is one of our favorites. The pizza is also really good and the walleye etoufe is yummy!. Really can’t go wrong with this spot.

We ate here yesterday evening- walked in and was told it would be a 20 minute wait, but within a few minutes our waitress cleared a table and we were sat. Very nice gal. Must be a popular place to eat because it stayed busy. Amazing food! An expansion (if there’s space to do so) would only benefit them!

Food usually good but ordered walleye sandwich. Was one of the worse I have eaten. Fish overcooked with crispy hard coating & hard bun. My husband ordered Philly chicken sandwich. He said was ok. Disappointing. Bartender great .
