We walked in on a really busy night (pretty sure it was a Thursday) and somehow snagged one of the last tables — we felt super lucky. Even with how packed it was, the service was exceptional and never felt rushed.
The kids immediately loved that the table was covered in paper and that they brought crayons, which kept them happily drawing while we waited. We were started off with bread and olive oil with salt, pepper— it was really good. We also had a couple glasses of Pinot Noir, which were tasty and easy to drink.
For food, the kids had steak and pasta with meatballs and absolutely loved both. The adults ordered the broiled haddock with a side of pasta marinara. The fish was pretty good — it tasted more like fresh-frozen than truly fresh, which stood out a little given how close we are to the ocean.
Dessert totally redeemed everything though. We shared one of the best pieces of carrot cake we’ve ever had — it was enormous — along with a piece of peanut butter pie, and both were fantastic.
Overall, a good experience with wonderful service, kid-friendly touches, and some standout desserts.

Cozy spot for dinner. Loved the wine. The best bottle I have had for some time. Bread was delicious. Salad was good. Pasta was ok.

We had a lovely dining experience in this traditional Italian cafe with a warm, cozy vibe. The service was excellent and the meals were awesome. The capresese salad was delicious and the scallops Marsella and chicken parm were cooked to perfection. Had 2 glasses of wine and topped it off with a slice of lemon cake..forgetaboutit! Easy parking, affordable prices, and Italian food the way it should be!

My daughter and I showed up on Valentine’s Day with no reservations expecting not to get in but wanted to at least try. To our surprise we were given a seat right away- the place was jam packed. They could have easily turned us away but they didn’t. Even though the place was full we got our drinks and food quickly and it was all delicious. This establishment does it right and has a good system in place. The food is so good and it is my new favorite place as they offer vegan options!!

One of our favorite restaurants is starting to slip. I understand costs and the elimination of bread, but some of the meals have taken a turn for the worst. The shrimp scampi Lacked sufficient garlic. The chicken Florentine was supposed to come with an Alfredo sauce. It came with oil and garlic on the pasta. The pasta Milano only had a rare sun-dried tomato and wasn’t creamy or as tasty as it had been.

Dining at Casa Novello always feels like you’re going over Nonna’s house for Sunday dinner. The food is top notch, the service is stellar, and the atmosphere cozy and warm. The food feels familiar and home cooked in the best sort of Nonna has been cooking all day, way. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and I went here for a Valentines Day lunch date, also our first time. I ordered the chicken parm with a side Caesar salad, which comes with their homemade dressing and croutons. Josh ordered the meat lasagna with the pepperoni sauce. We split their mozzarella half moons that came with both pesto and marinara sauces. The food was absolutely amazing! We loved the atmosphere and the small lights and fresh flowers on the tables. The restaurant was beautiful and their staff was amazing! Super nice, and I liked that the lady (owner, I believe?) even stopped by our table to make sure everything was OK. We were too full for dessert this time around but we definitely plan on returning for future date nights. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

My fiancé brought me here for my birthday. We both always wanted to come here. The food was amazing. The atmosphere had elegant ambiance. The staff was very attentive to everyone there and also sang happy birthday to me, which was awesome. They make it feel so like family when you are there and that’s how we both felt. If you have not tried this restaurant, I highly recommend it and we cannot wait to return for a second visit. Thank you very much for making my birthday memorable. Visit was 10/28/2025 Brady Heath and xiomara

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful lunch at Casa Novello! The French onion soup was rich and cheesy, the hot honey ricotta dip was creamy with a perfect sweet-heat balance, and the pizza we shared was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was warm and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this cozy spot for amazing Italian food!

Server was great, restaurant is tiny. Definitely make reservations. The downfall was the Alfredo. Menu said it had nutmeg and I was like ok, a tiny bit of nutmeg might be nice. The sauce was brown and it was like licking a jar of nutmeg. And they also served that as the kids Alfredo. Me and my daughter we not impressed. My garlic know was also really doughy and cold on the bottom
