Came down to Homer on a busy Saturday. Since we are Alaskans we didn’t want fish, so we decided to try this new bbq place. They have customer park spots which is a bonus on the crowded spit. Service was fast and friendly. We got a 3 meat platter with pulled pork, pork ribs, and brisket. We liked the ribs the best. We had the honey jalapeño coleslaw and potato salad as sides. The potato salad was a unique party in your mouth with celery and pickles and not over loaded with mayo. The coleslaw had a little kick and was good. They’ve only been open 3 weeks and I’m sure they will blossom with time.

Brisket was moist. Pulled pork was pulled. Corn was creamy. Cornbread was superb. Coleslaw was crunchy. Sauce was saucin’.

The flavor was just not there on most items. Coleslaw was very bland, ribs and pulled pork were ok, corn bread was cold dry and needed a large cup of milk to consume and the butter that goes with it was cold and not able to spread it.
