If you’re looking for authentic and delicious food this is definitely the place to go!! Lots of people turn it down because of the area but it is soooo worth it!! Portions are spot on, sushi is fresh and flavorful, entrees are served hot and made to order and don’t get me started on the soup (it tastes like being Blessed and Highly Favored of the LORD). You’re guaranteed to find something delicious on the menu. Seriously, go try it and see for yourself.

The staff is extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The sushi is excellent, the tiger roll is in the top 3 best sushi I’ve ever had. Extremely fresh and delicately prepared and presented with a fresh orchid flower. The salad with peanut dressing is amazing, so much care was put into the fresh ingredients. If you come here and have something on the menu that you weren’t impressed with, come back and order something else. They have some outstanding food, and the hand-carved tables and chairs are unbelievable. Take a moment to really look at and appreciate the extreme attention to detail put into all those carvings, I heard they have more tables and chair sets available for sale as well. I would go out of my way to come back, especially for the sushi. It’s a little run down, and the bathrooms leave a little to be desired. But just focus on the outstanding food, great staff, amazing carvings, and fresh orchids.

Stopped by for lunch here while traveling and had a spectacular time. The first thing your notice is the striking decor with beautiful wood carved tables and seating. The food is flavorful, hearty, and incredibly tasty! I had the salmon mango curry and fresh thai spring rolls, the quality is spectacular and I hope to return again.. Staff was friendly, attentive, and quite funny. I could imagine myself being a regular here (:

I ordered the pineapple fried rice. The rice was over cooked and there was only a pineapple ring on top of the rice. And the pork there were some small pieces and some long pieces. The absolutely worst pineapple fried rice I’ve had.

This absolutely was the very best Thai restaurant I have ever experienced. The atmosphere, fixtures, and furnishings were nothing short gorgeous. The food was absolutely spectacular, and this comment comes from one who has eaten authentic Thai food while in Thailand. Be sure to give it a try!

Absolutely excellent little gem of Thai food. The appearance of the exterior of the store is awful, and it almost looks like the store is closed. Don’t judge a book by its cover, however. Inside, the place looks really well lit and is nicely ornamented, very clean, and they have excellent food. The prices for lunch are really reasonable, and they have a nice variety of authentic Thai food. I had the pad thai, with shrimp and chicken, and it was wonderful. I really wish that their outside store appearance was a bit better looking, because I could see where that would discourage someone from coming in. But you owe it to yourself to come here and try the food because it’s really wonderful. Service was also excellent, and they do neat little things like ornamenting your straw wrapper. I wasn’t expecting that nice little touch

This is a cute place to go and get a decent Asian cuisine. I had the Thai fried rice with beef and the spice Thai flavor. This is the spiciest option they have. It made me sweat but it was really flavorful. The egg rolls are big and packed with cabbage veggies and chicken. The dumplings are pretty good as well but I think regular soy sauce tastes better then the thick sauce they used. Still this is a really good place, the wait staff is kind and very helpful. The ambiance is relaxing as well. I really like the thing they do with the straw where they wrap it with the paper (see photo below). Just little things like this make give it that extra bump in the experience.

I had a to go order from Thai Orchard while visiting Orangeburg, SC, for a family funeral. I initially called in my order and was told about 20 minutes for it to be ready. Arrived before the 20 minutes and wasn’t impressed with the outer presence of the establishment. I was greeted by a young man who was kind, and let me know my order would be out shortly. Unfortunately, the shortly turned into a longer wait. I was told after my 20 minutes that they only had one cook, which was ok. However, I was the ONLY individual in the establishment waiting for an order. Place seemed a little disorganized with things out of place in a restaurant but I expressed patience. I’ve had Thai food from all over the world in my travels, and unfortunately, this didn’t do well as my favorite. I paid $30 for small portions, and the food lacked in taste for me. Was a little disappointed because of the distance we drove to try this place after the reviews.
