It was ok Fries was cold and old but didn’t complain because fish was hot and fresh. Crablegs, lobster, and eggs were overcooked but had a good taste I spent over $100 also I asked if the banana pudding is homemade she said yes so I bought it but it wasn’t the cookies was old and soggy I didn’t eat it I threw it away paid $12 for 3 small cookies and pudding that wasn’t homemade like I asked for before I bought it. I guess I bought the leftover because they only had 3 left.

I got the 35.00 special they had going on. 1, I don’t know if people overhyped this place or either 2, cause it didn’t have sauce to it but it was just ok to me. Don’t get me wrong it was season to the God’s but it was just to greasy and no sauce. Would I give them another try with the sauce yes I would because they have the best deal on the seafood in Memphis; and as you see you get a lot . First time just wasn’t a charm for me but I’m willing to give it another try with the right sauce. O n I went at night time round 7:30 and it wasn’t pack.

Good meal size. Seasoning was appropriate.
Meal was totally bone dry. Very little butter/dipping sauce. I had cotton mouth when I finished and during the meal. Very dry meal. Red Hook really does a much better job at the butter/dipping sauce. Punch was overly sweet tasted like drinking pancake syrup. I won’t buy again due to the vain still inside the shrimp and the dryness of the meal. Red Hook on Elvis Presley is the better taste for me.

I love the food here—it’s always seasoned really well. I usually go for the crab boils. I’m not a fan of the sausage they use, but the crab is always on point!
I’m giving it 4 stars only because they don’t provide gloves, bibs, or anything to help you stay clean while eating the boils. Other than that, the food is a 10/10.

The food was delicious and it was done pretty quickly. We got the party pack mild. It was very flavorful. The food is well priced. If I ever come back to memphis I will definitely come again.

It was ok, food was salty, first time having snow crab legs that weren’t sweet, and everything was drowned in butter. Customer service was great, very friendly. The bathroom needed cleaning. But if you’re looking for affordable, this is your spot.

Being from SC, I was craving a seafood boil. I found Straight Drop Seafood. The food and prices were great. The building was covered in great artwork.

Food seasoning and sauce is inconsistent.
1st picture is from my delivery order (first time eating).
2nd/3rd picture is from my pickup order (second time eating).
I first ordered from this restaurant as a Grub Hub delivery and the food was delicious even though my eggs were not added. It came with a nice butter sauce in an aluminum pan. This made me want to go back. So finally I made the trip myself. I placed my order for pickup through the Grub Hub app. Not thinking to look at my food. When I got home, the food did not look the same as the first time I ordered nor did it taste the same. The butter sauce that set it off the first time was absent. I had some watery juice in my containers this time and it was in a plastic container instead of the aluminum pan like the first time. Food was cold even though it wasn’t ready when I got there and there visibly isn’t any seasoning on the food. Idk what happened this time but since this is only my second time eating from this restaurant, I can’t say which time is the norm. I can’t say that I’ll be coming back when there are so many other seafood restaurants to compare to in Memphis.

I ordered off a delivery app when the food came it was cold! I still tried so my mom came and visited from Chicago for her bday and I thought to give it a second chance cause she loves seafood and the prices are reasonable! But we ate in the restaurant and the food was still cold which made the sauce thick and salty! We ordered the koolaid drinks and the freezer wasn’t cold so our drinks weren’t cold and we asked to buy cups of ice and was refused ! I had a party of 8 and we had to split our sitting. The boiled eggs weren’t yellow in the middle ,and I ordered 12! I love black business and I try to support as much as I can but I will not be back !
