First time at the Cherry Hill Cafe and it did not disappoint. Located on US 30 between Joliet and New Lenox, Cherry Hill has great food and service at affordable prices. I had the Denver omelet with hash browns and pancakes and some grits and everything was delicious. I’ll be back very soon!

We had breakfast. Food has good flavor. But not the high fructose syrup. It was nasty. Eggs cooked to perfection. Too bad food was not hot when delivered. English muffin did not melt butter. Maybe heat the plates better so the heat stays in the food not the plate. Also, need better silverware. The stamped fork was not comfortable in my hand. Service was adequate … just slow.

I recommend! I was very impressed by the young staff at this cute little hole in the wall. Very attentive, friendly, nice, and polite young group. I feel like it’s rare to find nice staff nowadays! Several also speak Spanish.
Drink/food wise, I highly recommend the hot chocolate, it was super sweet and creamy . I almost ordered two! Most hot chocolates lately seem to be lukewarm water and a powder packet, but this was actually pretty tasty! I also ordered the Veggie Omelette ($11) which came with French toast with whipped cream and powdered sugar (I clearly love sweets ). I felt the omelette could’ve used a pinch of salt and pepper, but I definitely appreciated the Cholula already at the table (nothing a little hot sauce can’t fix ). I really liked the French Toast, it was simple and small but good. I also ordered the fruit, I originally thought that was an option to upgrade the toast/pancakes but it was additional… just $2 for half a plate of fruit – which I thought was a steal! The fruit was a little overripe, but I’m all for zero food waste, so I ate it. I was visiting the hospital nearby and wasn’t sure where to go. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, no frills, cheap breakfast/lunch with great staff I highly recommend. Btw watch out – I totally missed the entry and ended up turning into the one way exit sorry!

The worst food I ever tasted. Ordered a All meat skillet with extra meat and when we got it home it looked like a 3 year old prepared it. The Belgium waffle was super crispy, and the Cheese and Bacon Omlet was flat and my son got sick after eating one bit. Called the restaurant back about the food, and the waitress repy was “I didn’t cook it”. Wow super customer services at its finest.

I can not believe I paid over 17$ for my country fried steak and INSTANT mashed potatoes. I used to love this place but feel the quality is going downhill. Thank goodness the soup was good or I’d be even more livid. WASTE OF MONEY. We have to work harder and harder for our money these days so when I go grab food once in a blue moon I do expect better than this.
At cracker barrel and country charm for the same cost I get so much more and so much better quality. It’s sad because I expect more from a mom and pop style place.

Great family and welcoming atmosphere. Very respectful and very polite. Clean and love the decor. The food was perfect and amazing. Great job!!!! Will definetly be going back. Shakes are made with real fruit. They dont skimp on the fruit on the waffles it actualli is in every bite of the waffle. Yum! Nothing was burnt.
