We’ve been coming here for takeout for years, but decided to eat in tonight with my parents. I think this was only the second time we’ve eaten there!

Tonight the restaurant wasn’t too crowded but the takeout business was steady.

There’s a reason this place has been around for so long!

The food was perfect on this cold night – truly Cantonese “comfort food.” For five of us, we ordered the 3 item deal for $40.95 (curry chicken, fish with tofu, and calamari with American broccoli), the fried chicken wings appetizer for $11.95, the won ton soup for $11.95 (two orders), and beef chow fun (dry style) for $16.95. Out-the-door cost was $120 including tax and tip. Everything was delicious!

Service was top notch – very friendly and attentive.

We always enjoy takeout from here, but will definitely start coming in to eat in-person more often. Always great to have the food served nice and fresh!

Great open late Chinese diner with a huge menu! Very nostalgic atmosphere and friendly service. The won tons were tasty and had a great filling to noodle ratio. The tofu dish was good but not a must order, so I’ll probably be trying one of their many other dishes next time. Cash preferred unless over a certain dollar amount (I think it was around $20).

Good food open late! What is there not to like?

Food is always good. Service is good, but can be slow when spikes occur. Venue is a bit dated but there is always plenty of parking.

A better option for those late night munchies than the usual suspects

Been here more than a dozen times in recent years and the food is always consistent . It is our go to late night destination

A really good hong kong style cafe with a location also on Milpitas that’s also open late! I always like their baked rice and fried rice they make! Today I was going to try it out there baked pork chop for the first time with a garlic sauce that was really good on top! And most of the items don’t cost more than $23… Mixing it in with the white rice and the broccoli was also really nice too! Service is pretty simple and they also have a lot of drinks they can recommend you. The atmosphere is n’t the most uplifting, but they also have a lot of Hong Kong movies and news and related content on the TVs!

We’ll definitely be coming back. This spot was introduced to us by older Cantonese adults, n. It’s a Hong Kong-style cafe serving both Western and Cantonese comfort dishes.

The service was quick, and our waiter was especially helpful and friendly. The menu is huge, which is great, but also a little overwhelming since there are no photos to guide you. Still, the prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous.

We ordered several dishes to share, and we’d recommend each one:
• Deep Fried Tofu with Fish Filet Hot Pot – our favorite
• Sweet and Sour Pork Chop – our second favorite. We asked for Peking pork which they didn’t have, this was the closest to it, seemed like it was pretty much Peking pork though (not sure if they changed it for us or not).
• Beef with Black Bean Chow Fun
• Onchoy with Garlic Sauce – they didn’t have pea sprouts so substituted it with this; fresh.

This is a great place. We all left and hours later we’re still saying “that was a great meal” “I *really* enjoyed dinner”

Come here for the occasional late night craving. Sometimes I’m just sitting in bed thinking about their baked rice. It’s not anything insanely good tasting but it has a very simple but comforting taste and feel. The restaurant is also bustling on a Friday night it didn’t even feel like it was 2am. Besides their baked pork chop over rice I also really like their fried calamari, the addition of stir fry onion and pepper really adds to the flavor. Regarding service, I feel like it’s always fine? Yeah they were busy but they got everything to me and I basically didn’t say anything just pointed to the menu and nodded for replies since it was so loud inside. They also offered to move me to a bigger table after a party left which was nice. Overall if you’re a stickler for super attentive hovering service then you might be disappointed, but I don’t mind it.

They gave us quick service but the taste of food was not HK authentic. The two noodle dishes we ordered were also overly salted and the portions were pretty small. The so-called ginger milk curd tasted just like the plain milk and egg custard you eat in an egg tard. Not planning on going back any time soon, if never.

We frequent this Hong Kong style cafe/diner throughout the years. It’s one of the go to restaurants when we get hungry at odd hours and when nothing else in particular comes to mind. There’s so many delicious items on the menu, you’ll almost always find something you like. You can’t go wrong.

Came here on a Tuesday night and got seated immediately – it’s not super busy at around 5 pm to 6 pm!

Good:
I really like the food quality here – it’s different than a lot of the places I’ve been to and it’s pretty solid food. I like the spaghetti bolognese here even though it feels like a super out of place thing at this kind of HK restaurant – but it comes in this hot stone bowl and feels super fresh and the sauce is beautiful – just enough flavor and slightly sweet too.

The Russian borsch soup is great too and I felt like it tasted more like minestrone soup which I also like and it is very flavorful.

Bad:
The service here isn’t great – the waiters have forgotten our orders and we had to bug them for it. They are nice though.

The gyoza and fried tofu here are pretty bland so I’d skip those.

Overall I like the food here and would come again! It’s pretty cheap too so it’s really worth for the amount and the portion sizes.
