Food is awesome! And always fresh. Like to go on Thursday night for the “all you can eat vegetables” . The service is great, you never need to chase your server for refills. They are extremely friendly and welcoming. Their carrot salad is the best we have had in a very long time. Well worth a dining experience for good ole fashion country cooking with great service

We LOVED this place! Our first time was yesterday. The price is fair for 2 adults ($42.00) who enjoy oysters, shrimp, catfish, wings, and bbq!! We paid less for the Redd House than we would have at longhorns or red lobster!! This is a southern belle’s kind of place!! Hospitality, banana pudding, and cooking like my grandparents did! Will be back!! Our waitress was super nice too. Didn’t mind the line because everything dies down once inside and the place is fairly large.

Absolutely loved the place. The wife and I arrived 24 minutes before they opened and there was already a queue of people standing in the cold to get in as soon as the door opened. 5pm prompt, they threw open the door and started seating. I’ve never seen 100 people seated and served so quickly by a waitstaff of 4, maybe 5 people. Obviously, the buffet service eases the load on the waitstaff, but it’s still impressive.
Food is classically southern and wonderfully prepared. The seafood is excellent and there is a nice selection of non-seafood items on the buffet as well as on the Ala Cart menu. This was a top concern for us because my wife does not eat seafood in any form. She loved it, and so did I. Well worth the trip.

The place were very clean, also our waiter was really friendly, nice . It was my first time going to The Redd House Restaurant, it was my birthday on March 22,2018. So our son and our daughter-n-law, along with our youngest daughter and my husband treated me to a Birthday outing. The food was delicious everything in general were just nice.

I wasn’t impressed. This place has great reviews and was even recommended by a few friends so maybe it’s just me but…. We went on Friday night for the seafood buffet. There wasn’t a very large selection of seafood or other items, most of the food wasn’t hot and the cheese grits were like soup. The very limited deserts (I think there were three choices) were not very tasty either. If the price had been closer to ten bucks I may have felt differently, but at eighteen dollars a head, I expect MUCH more in quantity and quality. Over $45 for the two of us, including tax and tip, and we actually left hungry.

All the food looks as though it was prepared for a photo shoot. None of the food is greasy and it’s all genuine southern cooking that tastes like homemade. The word ‘homemade’ gets tossed out a lot and some places use that word liberally but in a lifetime of eating southern cooking, this place is the real deal. The restrooms were spotless. I ate more food here than I normally eat and even after I was full I kept eating because it just tasted so good.

Very good seafood buffet. Pretty good service. Friendly staff. The seafood tasted fresh. Comfortable environment. But, the seafood buffet costs $16.50! … W O W ! So a family of 6 costs $99.00. Then $1.50 for a drink. $1.50 x 6 = $9.00. So the total food cost is $108.00. Then with a 15% gratuity ($16.20), my total bill is $124.20. Is it worth it? Not really. It’s probably worth about $12.00, not $16.50. I’d only go back for a special occasion.

Disappointed. Had great reviews so tried it out. Went Friday night for seafood night. Limited selections for main course and desserts. Food was undercooked and cold. Friendly atmosphere, but the food didn’t live up to the hype. $18/person buffet is too expensive for the limited selections and quality. If you go, they don’t take credit cards as payment. Don’t recommend.
