Update: It is now 10 hours later and it is sad to say that we are both suffering the effects of food poisoning. I so was hoping for a different outcome for us.
We had heard good things about this place, we’re new to town from the Chicago area, so we decided to give it a try. The menu looks amazing! Alas, it is not so. I ordered the filet mignon, lobster and scallops medium rare, my husband ordered the same, rare. Both orders were medium rare and my husband’s lobster had a hair cooked into it. The scallops were undercooked, therefore inedible. The rolls we ordered we’re OK, not like what we’re used to getting, but not bad. Instead of getting the gyoza we ordered, they brought two side salads that were clearly bagged salad mix you would find at Walmart and two orders of Miso soup. Definitely not gyoza. Total we spent $210 on this meal (after tip) and we will not be back. Disgusted. If you’re going to charge higher prices, I expect higher quality. What we received you could find at the $12.99 buffet down the street. Do better.

A nice sushi and hibachi grill tucked away in Muncie indiana! The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly. All of the decor was extremely charming. The hibachi chicken was excellent. My table mates sushi was served in a very decorated and elaborate plating. I would recommend this place if you’re in Muncie looking for some good Japanese food

My first time eating here and I wasn’t too thrilled about it to be honest. I really didn’t think I was a fan of Japanese food. Definitely not a fan of sushi, so I think that is why, for the most part, I’ve never eaten here.
Let me tell you though… My mind was blown. My friends and I sat at the Hibachi grill with 2 other couples. I believe I got the Sukiyaki steak that comes with fried rice, grilled vegetables, soup and salad. Oh my gosh… The show from the chef was amazing to say the least, and my steak was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted great.
Our waitress was awesome as well as the lady that seated us. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out for so long! I will be back soon!

I’m obsessed with this place and their food. My friend said we should go here one day, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since eating their food the first time. My favorite meal is their teriyaki beef! The pricing is so good especially for a college student!

The food is always excellent! The service gets a 1/5 for me. The servers always seem to be extremely annoyed when you ask them a question, or for a refill, etc. If I could give the service a 0, I would. The hostesses are always nice and sushi chef is wonderful and pleasant.

Not enough food given for the cost. This was my second time eating here. They give you more food if you sit at the hibachi table. Took my daughter she loves it! Definitely worth others trying it out!

The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The presentation of the food was nice too. We were in a hurry so we didn’t sit in the hibachi area this time. But in the past we have several times and it’s always a fun experience.

We really enjoyed our visit at Fuji. The service was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. We did hibachi and was very entertained by the chef. He was funny and seemed very informative. Everyone at our table was super friendly which made for a great atmosphere.

Love the food here and like the options. Rolls are well made and they have a good assortment of rolls with raw and rolls with cooked. They also turnaround orders pretty quickly for sushi. Hibachi meals are good also. Prices are competitive as well.
