Finding Good Things
We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Everything was spot-on homestyle cooking. The coleslaw was crunchy and fresh. The pork was tasty. No sugar in the cornbread = perfection. And the fried okra was about the best I’ve ever had. Oh! The lemonade was the real deal. So good. If you are passing through and need a bite, stop here!

Amazing food here. Busy little place and rightly so. Very ample portions of incredibly good food. Small place, a little outdated and if you don’t know it’s there you’ll miss it. But totally worth thr trip.

Stopped for lunch while passing through the area. It was excellent. The fried chicken and cornbread were awesome. My buddy had the meatloaf and soup beans and loved what he got also.Everything was excellent. They even serve REAL butter with the meal. No plastic tasting margarine. I also got a couple pounds of their pork sausage to go. I will be back

Went there today and ate in the restaurant. Food was good. Portions were a little small but it tasted good. The corn bread was really dry. I would dine there again.

We go most every Friday night for their fish fry. Best fish you can find around here lightly breaded, thick, and not greasy at all. Their wilted lettuce and onions are to die for. Owner is super nice we have talked to her many times about the service. Her waitress is absolutely horrible no refills unless you go up front and wait for her to come get you one, rude, huffs and puffs everytime you ask for something even though you have already asked for for it 3 different times, you can clearly tell she dosent want to work I guess she just wants the money. This kind of service will definitely drive customers away. You can have the best food but with awful service the food means nothing.
