The food was okay. A little overcooked, and took quite a while and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Out of all the Mexican food restaurants in this town it is the best one, but definitely not the best Mexican food restaurant that I have ever been to. They do have cheap sodas ($1.50 all you can drink). The waitress was great and very friendly, so I gave her the extra star, otherwise I would only give it 3 stars.

We love Mexican food and have traveled the U.S. for rodeo and we try MANY! By far…we agree, our FAVORITE is THIS Luna Azul in Bonham, TX! I had the Chicken Enchiladas in Sour Cream sauce served with Pinata Salad and Rice. Off the charts amazing! I did ask to substitute one chicken enchilada for a Beef enchilada and the beef was excellent too. They were very accommodating to make the substitution. Staff was super friendly. We were impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere!!! This restaurant checks all the boxes for a perfect dinner! Go enjoy!!! We love it! I am sad that I am going to have to come all the way back to Bonham Texas for my favorite Mexican food. We are both from Florida. 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The wait time after ordering was a bit longer than you would want for lunch rush times, however it was not unseemly. The food was delicious and very well made and thoughtfully prepared. Unlike most TexMex places the side salad that you get was very well made and tasty! Bathrooms were clean and the building was well maintained and inviting.

I had the beef burritos smothered with spicy queso. It was so delicious. Fresh, hot chips, salsa was delicious. Refried beans had a great flavor to them. So glad I found this gem. Ask for LeAnne, she was my server today. Very attentive and friendly. I will be back.

This place is phenomenal! The queso is a MUST TRY!! I love their appetizer platter too – super delicious! They have the best service – the manager checked on our table to ensure we were enjoying our meal and having a great experience. The food comes out fresh and hot!! We travel quite often. Of all the Mexican restaurants we have tried, Luna Azul is on the top of our list. Their fajita meat is the best! Love the flavor and tenderness of the meat. We tried several dishes and have enjoyed everyone. Oh! Their margaritas may be small but they are so good!
