Cute diner with delicious food located inside the Paso Robles airport terminal. It’s one of those hidden places that locals love that you may not think to go to unless you’re out on an adventure. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting the ravine waterpark or the warbirds museum. They serve breakfast all day and the biscuits and gravy are really good. Burgers, sandwiches and more! Friendly experienced staff and comfortable atmosphere. Free parking.

Located inside the terminal of Paso Robles municipal airport this cozy little diner, serves up some great food. Pretty well guarantee the waitress will not let your coffee cup get even halfway empty. The staff is friendly and personable and makes you feel like family. With a view of the aircraft and hearing the chatter of pilots, sitting around talking over coffee, add to the atmosphere.
Awesome little place to stop by for breakfast or lunch

We don’t live in Paso Robles, but every time we visit, we make sure to go to Joe’s One-Niner Diner. There is usually a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. The servers are always attentive and friendly, and it’s fun to watch the small planes taxiing through the diner window. I always enjoy the food when we go. One of my family members said they’d prefer to have their bacon more crispy (despite ordering it “extra crispy), but I didn’t think that was worth removing a star. We’ll keep coming back!

We love Joe’s in Paso and Templeton so we ventured to the one-nine diner. Our server was very good keeping our ice tea from being empty. There was lots of activity on the runway which was cool. Unfortunately the hubby’s chicken fried steak had the consistency of ground beef and it was also on the spongy side. My omelette was only ok. The two stars are for the server she was very attentive.

Restaurant at an airport. Nice scenery. Does occasionally get busy. Ordered medium rare steak and received well done. Seasoning on steak was good.

I have been eating here on and off for three years and have often wanted to be critical for what they offer but today was the day I decided to write about it. I ordered the tri-tip and Ortega chili sandwich with fries and it was a real disappointment. I had a felling there was going to be an issue when my coworker handed me the bag with my order and it felt like it was just an empty Styrofoam container. My disappointment was confirmed when lifted the top slice of bread only to find a single slice of beef (with a couple of other “fragments” and only enough chili pepper to cover half of the sandwich. The fries had an In-N-Out texture that once they cooled to an edible texture they were pasty and hard. I suspect they were raw potatoes that were not low temperature par-boiled (cooked) like real fries should be (and that In-N-Out doesn’t either). I have noticed a decline in their portions and general lack of culinary acumen. I would like this to be constructive criticism because it would be nice that I can enjoy a good meal from them regularly while I’m at work. Step up your game folks or I won’t consider coming back.

We were on our way to Monterey from LA. We were near Paso Robles so we searched for somewhere to eat. Found Joe’s, we didn’t know it was actually in the airport. It took us awhile to find it. There was no signage. We went there at about 1:00, we didn’t have to wait. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with mushrooms with au jus. The sandwich was good and the service was excellent. The server was very attentive and she kept refilling our ice tea.

Yummy food and great views of the planes coming and going. My only issue is certain staff really cannot handle a rush, so if its busy or you have a large group, I would choose to eat elsewhere. Otherwise it’s a great little spot for good diner food! Try the Mexican offerings I think those options are done really well here!

Had an amazing father day breakfast/ brunch. View of the airfield (no flights unfortunately), delicious food, and generous portions. Very timely service, frequent coffee refreshes.

Bring cash – discount for cash. Use savings to tip well. They deserve that!
