I placed an online order for pickup and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

I ordered an avocado bowl, and the avocado was clearly spoiled. It was brown and mushy.I honestly don’t understand how something like that can be added to a dish without checking the quality first.

The lemonade was already poured when I arrived. After a few sips, I realized it had gone bad as well , it tasted like it had started fermenting!!
On top of that, the restroom was very dirty, which made the overall experience even worse.

I’m really disappointed and hope the restaurant improves its quality control and cleanliness.

This was the BEST Cava experience I’ve had, hands down. I was honestly having a terrible week, but Brittney and Hailey were incredibly kind and somehow made even a quick interaction feel memorable. I also got to chat with the super sweet blonde staff member with the Halestorm tattoo

I usually feel a little awkward catching names, but they genuinely made me feel welcome, and I really wanted to highlight people who went above and beyond when they didn’t have to. The whole environment felt friendly and uplifting. And honestly? The food was bomb. Whether it tasted extra good because of how great the experience was or because Cava is always solid, I’ll definitely be choosing this location every time!!!

Bowls were outstandingly amazing, shout out to Melany for her service was super nice, motivated, outgoing, and helped me choose what yummy stuff to get in my bowl. I will be returning pretty often because I love to gym and I’ve been looking for a source of protein and I didn’t like chipotle. Shoutout to my 4’10” manager monster. I see her putting in that work. When someone need help she’s there and when something’s need to be attended she’s quick on it. Besides her beautiful smile the food was outstanding. Love you pookie <3

Genuinely fantastic service. I came in very close to closing, and they still served me. The person making my bowl was incredibly communicative, offered me ways to get the ingredients i wanted in my bowl without extra cost, and the manager, Fred, was very kind when he ringed me up. I love Cava, but the people at this location make it special! Got a Greek Salad, my go-to order, and it was great as always.

The environment here was spectacular. Greeted with a warm welcome and beautiful smiles. The food is definitely going to make me bulk up for the gym. The reason I bring up the gym is because Its my new goal to get bigger so the manager can notice me. I think Her name is “Mel” her soft eyes and beautiful smile keep me going. This is a manager any store needs. Thank you guys for all of the tasty food

. I’m honestly really sad to say that I think I’ve lost CAVA — at least when it comes to this location.

My friends and I used to come here quite often, usually once every 10 days whenever we were in the area visiting Walmart or Costco. As someone who grew up on the Mediterranean coast, CAVA always felt like a refreshing taste of something familiar. I enjoy many of their locations — the one in Times Square, the one on Hollywood Boulevard, even the one in Beverly Hills (which you’d expect to be more expensive because of the location, but surprisingly isn’t).

A few weeks ago we had a similar situation when the restaurant had run out of feta cheese and pita bread. No one offered any kind of adjustment or even acknowledged that feta is actually a big part of the flavor of the bowl. Still, things happen — restaurants run out of items, and while it’s not ideal, I can understand that.

What I had trouble understanding during my most recent visit was something else entirely. I received a bowl with just a few pieces of lettuce and a very small scoop of rice. When I politely asked if a bit more could be added, I was told that an additional scoop of rice would cost $2.

It’s not about the $2. It’s the principle. When someone is already paying around $15 for a bowl, it feels strange to treat basic ingredients like lettuce and rice as if they’re premium add-ons. I completely understand charging extra for meat — it’s expensive and takes preparation. But rice?

What made the situation more noticeable is that the same thing happened to the guests behind us. They also commented that their bowls, without extra meat, chips, or drinks, ended up close to $20. There were even a few police officers sitting outside who happened to overhear the conversation and joined in, mentioning that policies like this make the experience feel like the brand is moving in the wrong direction.

I’m not mentioning or describing any employee here because I don’t want to cause problems for anyone personally. This is simply about the experience.

It genuinely makes me sad because I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time — I even reached SUN level in the rewards program. But moments like this make it feel as if customer loyalty matters less than squeezing out an extra couple of dollars.

Unfortunately, because of this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location.

Cava in Burbank is a great spot for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. The portions are generously huge, you definitely get your money’s worth. Everything tasted super fresh and absolutely delicious. I love customizing my bowl with all the vibrant toppings and sauces. The only downside is the parking, it’s tough to find a spot in the plaza, especially during peak hours. Also, the line inside can get pretty long, so be prepared to wait a bit. Still, the food makes it worth it.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Cesar and the team at this location. I had a very large order yesterday of 20 customized meals, and it was critical that they were ready on time and prepared correctly. Cesar went out of his way to make sure everything was in order. We spoke on the phone throughout the day, and when I arrived to pick everything up, everything was flawless.

It’s rare these days to find people who take pride in their work. It’s important to acknowledge this and champion those who do. Thank you Cesar and team for your support and great, collaborative attitudes!

The girl with the cakey makeup and big black mole on her face said it was either bread or pita which is obviously not right. Pita chips should come w it regardless.
