Food was mediocre. DO NOT GET FROZEN MARGARITAS terrible, no alcohol in them. Just a commercially made product. Price is ridiculous. Server could not understand any of us when ordering and didn’t get it correct even after pointing to the items in the menu. There are other authentic Mex restaurants in the area. Sadley the server automatically added a 20% tip to our party of 3. No warning no notice now no returning guests.

My husband and I (a married couple) went to eat at No Way Jose in Grenada with our three kids, my parents, and sister — so 8 of us total, but 5 of us as ONE immediate family. When we were seated, they asked adults sit at one table and our three kids at a separate table. Not the end of the world, but definitely not ideal when you’re trying to eat as a family.
We ordered a large cheese dip for $10+ and it came out half full. When I politely went to ask about it, I was treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about and shown a small cup “for comparison.” The “large” literally fit into that small cup. A whole table behind me even agreed it looked half full. That was the first red flag.
Then the food came out. Everyone’s meal was barely warm, and my husband’s and mom’s plates were cold. No one wants to pay for cold food.
When the check came, 20% gratuity had automatically been added — because of our three kids. I understand large parties being charged gratuity, but a family of five? And to not even seat us together? It felt wrong. Especially after the service and food quality we received.
After her pointing it out, in small writing at the bottom of the menu, It stated at the bottom of the menu that a family of five will be charged gratuity, but here’s what made it worse: another group with the same number of people came in after us and they were treated like a “party,” with tables pushed together. We didn’t get that courtesy — but we still got the 20% added.
I’ve worked in the food industry. I’ve waitressed. I understand off days. But I also understand earning your tip. If I gave poor service, I took responsibility for it. Automatic 20% gratuity — especially after cold food, attitude, and not being seated together — just doesn’t sit right.
By the time you pay for half-filled appetizers, cold meals, taxes, 20% gratuity, and a card fee, it adds up quickly.
We’ve eaten here for years and never had a complaint until now. But this one? Our family of five won’t be back. this is your warning to be prepared to be price gouged as a family of 5 and 3 being kids.

My colleague referred me to go here for lunch. With a possible happy hour after work.
However, decided to stop by and the service was really great along with a lively atmosphere with an array of televisions with different things on each.
My colleague orders for us the “No Way Jose Dip” which really was a sin to eat. Without sounding too cliche this dip was so damn good guys. When I was eating it with the nice hot chips I was thinking what are you doing. You are not going to be able to eat your entree. I tried so hard to stop but it tasted so good in my mouth.
Yes, just what I said I was only take to eat one of my tacos that was so filling and the fish was fried to perfection. I haven’t eaten Mexican
food this good in a while. Sorry if I’m insulting anyone. But, it was good.
When I got back to my hotel later after work I heated up the remaining two tacos along with the beans and rice and it just took me back to how I felt earlier when I took the first bite.
Way to go No Way Jose and job well done. Beware of that dip…
Went again and got the No Way Jose Fajitas. All I will say is view all the ingredients and you will not be sorry that you ordered it. Unbelievably good

Food was cold! Sat our party of 8 at two different tables but yet put two tables together for a party of 9 beside us And still expected us to pay 20% gratuity! Then their $10 cold cheese dip was only half way full. Sweet tea was like syrup it had way too much sugar! So loud in there you can’t talk to the people your table.

Make sure to have cash on hand or you’ll get charged 3.25% on CC charges! Very thankful they posted about their charges on CC usage and gratitude they automatically add onto your bill. Food was pretty decent and affordable, free chips and salsa served before the meal and our server did a great job.

The food here is VERY good. Whoever said their salsa is watered down ketchup clearly didn’t taste it. Yes, it’s blended and not at all chunky but the taste was great!! My fish tacos were awesome and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his brisket fajitas. The service was a little slow but if you’re not in hurry, this is definitely worth checking out.
