Cooking and serving others has always been a passion for our family, so on May 17, 2012, we opened the doors of Wing Snack Express; which is an extension of the original Wing Snack a.k.a. Wing Shack located on Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans, La. With the success of the original location, we decided to expand our brand and delicious-unique flavor to the Westbank residents and businesses.

Good Wings. Good quality but a little pricey. 15 wings, no fries, $17.50. Wings mediumsize at best. New House dry spice is very good! But didn’t stick to the wing much. The mesquite spice was good, but salty.
They do have 3 daiquiri machines and other liquor.
Service was good. Wings cooked just right and crispy.
In there at lunchtime, no other customers.

These wings and crawfish balls were so damn good! I got garlic parm and bourbon glaze for the wings, can’t even pick a favorite! I was surprised how much I enjoyed the garlic dry rub since I usually stick to saucy wings. The order was 100% correct, hot upon arrival, and good portions! I’ll be back!

1 am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this establishment. During my recent visit, | arrived during my lunch break and was the first customer. Having pre-called my order, I took a seat awaiting its preparation. However, within minutes, 10 additional patrons entered and were promptly served while I waited. After half an hour elapsed, I inquired about the status of my order, to which the staff member curtly replied that he prioritized customers who had paid. Unaware that payment was required upfront, I expected the standard procedure of being called once my order was ready, especially given that my order was placed over the phone. The staff’s demeanor was not only unaccommodating but also defensive, leaving me feeling disrespected.

The atmosphere and service is horrible. The lady with dreads and glass is so rude. I misunderstood her and she wanted to widen her eyes and say, “I asked you, and you said you wanted one combo.” I wasn’t giving her a attitude or anything. There’s was no reason for the hostility towards me.

We ordered online and came 20 minutes later to get our food. They were not done with our order and said that 10 pieces are allowed 2 flavors only and 6 pieces are allowed 1 flavor (which is understandable IF THEY STATED IT ONLINE) so we had to change our order at the restaurant. I paid $28 for all flats extra ranch 10piece wings and they gave me one BC sauce and no extra ranch and when I asked for extra ranch because I obviously paid for it online they all three looked at each other like they didn’t know what was going on. The energy and attitudes from the employees could be looked over if the food was bomb but the blue cheese dressing was MILKY CLEAR. I repeat MILKY. The wings’ sauce were salty. I got sweet heat (not one lick of sweetness was tasted, JUST HEAT) and jerk (just a bit too salty and watery). The pineapple lemonade was alright. It was the best thing I got cause at least it didn’t disappoint. Wasn’t real pineapple but was still good.

….. different. I then ordered the remix drink which is a mix of 3 of their juices. VERRRRRYYYY SWEET. I usually only drink water so that may be it. Man it was sweet. Good place if you want a late night snack and you are out of town.

The food was good. But I won’t be returning cause it’s not worth almost $30. They don’t have a 10 pc so they had to ring up everything separately. I asked for all flats and didn’t get that. I didn’t complain b/c I had been up since 4:30 AM and hadn’t ate all day. They charge extra if you want two different flavors. I got the sweet heat and lemon pepper both good flavors and it’s a cute little setup in there with tvs, forgot to take a pi c of the restaurant.

I don’t know when the two women started working there one with dreadlocks and heavy set n one Caucasian but poor customer service n the thought of her walking around with my drink out of sight of the camera was shocking her not have on a hair net or covering her mouth her also getting the sauce mixed up I have loved this places for years but when u hire people who don’t have the similar values and the owners or the old employees are shameful

Edit to remove star: I originally gave two stars but the owner replied to state that I must have been confused about my wait time. I ordered from my home around 8:30pm. I waited 10 minutes before taking the 10 minute ride and still had to wait until 9:45 for my order. This was only after I approached the counter to ask about my order for the 3rd time. The owner or manager (female) yelled at the cook who appeared to be struggling. Several people were waiting 30+ minutes when I arrived.
Yes, the wings are good but it’s not worth the price or the wait. For 10 wings I had an hour wait from the time I placed the order to the time it was ready. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I don’t understand why the long wait time. The price is a little high but it’s close to my house. The ghetto punch is very sweet but it’s a nice treat every once in a while.
