3 words to summarize- busy, popular, sweet! We stumbled upon this place as we were on our way back to the hotel we were staying in after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. We saw lots of cars and people outside this establishment and decided to grab some sweet treats after going through an unsatisfactory dining experience nearby. From slushes to sundaes to shakes, they have it all. Some unique and Mexican, Tortuga etc. seemed tempting. We tried tortuga, reeses pieces, chocolate covered cherry and chocolate explosion. All were yummy and the small size was more than enough for us. Definitely recommended for a quick sweet treat if you are in town. Staff was friendly and service was fast! The sweet treats definitely improved our mood after the unpleasant dining experience earlier.

Friendly staff, line moves quickly. They have a wide range of soft serve based treats. Some negatives: They do not sell hard ice cream. They are cash only. I would visit much more often if they took credit card. Business needs to get with the times, Im not going to take cash out just to get ice cream.

Stopped in to get a Sundae for a Sunday treat. I got a large sundae and walked away embarrassed because they give you sooooooo much ice cream!
This is not a bad thing! It’s an amazing deal, next time we’ll split one or get a smaller size. Honestly the best value around. The place is always busy so you can tell it’s loved locally! It’s got a cute vibe too compared to some of the other ice cream places in the area.
Also open until 10 most nights which is a huge plus! We’ll be back many times and we’ve been telling friends to stop by too!

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE VICKYS!! It’s usually our first Ice Cream stop of the year. This place is owned and operated by a local family, the owner is usually there and super nice. Most importantly, they have fantastic ice cream, and prices. My favorite thing to get from Vicky’s is there homemade lemon Ice!! It’s the best!!!

I’ve been going to Vicky’s since I was a little girl, despite growing up in the Utica area. My father would take my brothers and I here often growing up since he works out in Syracuse down the road. We’ve always known Vicky’s had the best tasting ice cream with large portions.
Now as an adult, I’m able to bring my little family here to enjoy the best ice cream in the area! Still the best ice cream and great portion sizes. Alan and Lisa are so kind and have revealed they make their own versions of chocolate, vanilla, etc. That’s why they will have the best, creamiest chocolate and the absolute BEST vanilla around! I could just get a plain vanilla cone and completely enjoy it. Can’t say that anywhere else that just supplies the basic vanilla they have ordered.
Top notch customer service and top notch ice cream. From cones, sundaes, shakes and more! You will not be disappointed if you stop by!

Creamy, delicious flavors – every twist and sundae I’ve tried has been a hit. Super quick service too! It’s a cozy little corner spot; just wish they added a bit of seating or spruced up the exterior. Still, the ice cream speaks for itself.

Icecream is Icecream, OK I get it. But this is a small sundae and it is plenty big enough for a large man like me.
This is a Mexican Sundae. It has whole peanuts, chocolate sauce on soft serve vanilla Icecream with whipped cream on top. The right mix of salty and sweet. And you can’t go wrong with peanuts and chocolate. Match made in heaven.

Cold treats, fast service, cash only (or preferred), they may tend to go overboard on the toppings. Beautiful old building and family owned business provides that nostalgic sense of Americana that is missing from modern chain establishments.

Came here on a whim after dinner. Best idea ever the ice cream was perfect, atmosphere was phenomenal, and the people were sweet I was a little worried about the cash only, but everything is so reasonably priced to where it wasn’t a problem at all. You get a nice portion too. Even though it’s raining it was still enjoyable! The Q&A on the side of the building was adorable to read while enjoying our treats. Definitely going to be back!
