First welcome meals after we arrived in Seattle.
Authentic Indian cuisine centrally located at Redmond shopping center.
Enjoyed delicious harabbara kabab, paneer handi and angara butter chicken. Cheese goat paratha and butter garlic nan were just awesome.
Both the dishes were extra loaded with butter. Staff was courteous.
Overall nice experience.

Went here at 3 PM on a Wednesday and I have to say it was a great experience!
First off, we were one of only two tables there. After the other family left, they switched the music from Indian to nonstop Nirvana played at just the right volume. Nice touch.
Our server was great. Not over the top and genuinely friendly. He served me a Bodhi in a nice glass along with a perfect amount of food. My wife also really enjoyed her cocktail.
The food did take a little while, but honestly it just gave me time to enjoy my beer, get comfortable in the restaurant, and be fully ready to get my grub on.
I ordered two orders of garlic naan, bone in chicken biryani, and the tikka lamb. The biryani was FALL OFF THE BONE tender, and the tikka lamb was absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of spice. I was seriously impressed, and it was my wife’s first time having Indian food.
Needless to say, this place is great and I can’t wait to come back.

This Indian restaurant came highly recommended by my friends, and it did not disappoint. The food was flavorful and authentic, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain each dish, which made the experience even better. I’ve been here several times and definitely I will come back to it more often.

I visited this place recently after seeing some confusing news online, so I wanted to experience it myself. In reality, the restaurant is clean, well managed, and has an Excellent food safety rating from King County Public Health, which is clearly displayed.
The food was really good. I especially loved the sizzlers, baingan bharta, and in desserts the shahi tukda was amazing. The chikoo shake is a must-try.
Overall, my experience was very positive. It’s important not to believe everything that goes viral on social media. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

Delicious North Indian food. Vegetarian entrees are $19-20, veg appetizer was $15-18, naans were very pricey at $6.50. Quantity was less but very delicious food. Complimentary rice alongside helped bulk up.
We were celebrating a birthday so we also got a complimentary piece of rasmalai. Order total was $95 excluding tip. We were quite happy with the tasty food and excellent service & we will return again for our next celebration.

This is easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had and hands down my favorite go-to spot. The environment is warm and welcoming, the service is consistently excellent, and the food is always outstanding. I’ve been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Everything is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. I’ve heard some people question the quality, but that has not been my experience at all, complete the opposite. Every visit has been amazing, and I confidently recommend this place to anyone looking for top-tier Indian food!!

Kanishka’s lunch variety platter is an excellent option for anyone in the Redmond, WA area looking for the abundance of an Indian buffet without the sanitary concerns of a self-serve line. For just $20, the spread is incredibly generous, featuring five distinct curries (including paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, daal, and a goat and vegetable curry) alongside rice, butter naan, a veggie samosa, and a sweet dessert. They change the curry selection daily. The quality of everything is impressive, and the portion sizes are so ample that you are practically guaranteed to leave with leftovers. The service really rounds out the experience; our waiter, Suni, was helpful and attentive throughout the meal. It is easily one of the best lunch values in the area for those who want high-quality variety in a clean, welcoming environment.

The food at Kanishka is so flavorful with reasonable prices. I enjoyed the mango chicken curry at 2 stars with fresh and succulent chicken pieces and soft basmati rice. The to-go section is detached from the restaurant which facilitates things. Cute lighting and aesthetics make for a nice dine in atmosphere.
