Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Called in to go lunch Thursday passing through Auburn. I honestly think it was last weekends leftovers reheated. Brisket was so tough and chewy, ribs I guarantee were at least 3 days old. Chicken breast was just ok. Everything drowned in bbq. Potato salad was decent. Beans were firm. Inside is a bit ick.

Hands down the best BBQ place in the area. Small family business ran by a man who cares about his work. It’s a small hole in the wall with little to no curb appeal besides a large star sign above the door. The food was absolutely delicious and the servings are more than fair. He smokes and cooks his meat outside their front door in a smoker that fills the air with a wonderful smell. The pulled pork is my favorite dish with soft and a tender pork mouthful. It goes along with two sides. He brings your food to you and keeps each portion separate using plates that have their own compartments. We will continue coming here every time we are in the area. His food is great and so is his attitude. Customer service was great. The building is small and there are only a few tables, even a few outside. But it’s a diamond in the rough right off of the freeway! Stop by often!

Yeah this place is solid overall. They got a lot to choose from & provide a lot for a little.
Got the pulled brisket sandwich. Not huge but did the job, & came with 2 sides. It was a little too much bbq sauce for me, kind if overpowered the meat flavor. However their prices are outrageously reasonable which boosts it up to 5 stars.

So so so so good!! I couldn’t resist the aroma of ribs on the smoker & picked up a plate full for lunch. Just the best! Tender ribs smothered in sweet smoky sauce. If you haven’t been there you’re missing it!!

Delicious pork ribs, homemade mashed potatoes, and chili beans. Nothing was oversalted, which I appreciate. Servings so big I was able to get 3 meals out of it. Nice smoked flavor on the ribs. Yummy special treat!

Oh my goodness.. this is amazing BBQ. The Ribs were so meaty, BBQ beans were not to sweet and not to smokey just perfect. Macaroni and potato salads homemade. Hot link spicy but not so spicy that you couldn’t enjoy it. Tri tip sandwich stuffed with tender slices. Only 30 minutes from the house so yes we will be back. A must try for anyone who likes BBQ

I like flavor with my food, so seasonings were missing, but they were cooked just right. The tri tip sandwich was bomb. I just wish I had some horseradish to go with it.
