Serving Nogales and Santa Cruz County for 70 years. We are now open for breakfast and lunch, 7am to 3pm, seven days a week. Known for our hamburgers, pie, our version of carne machaca and enchilada sauce are now Nogales staples as well. The photographs on our walls are all on the ZZ Cattle Ranch by photographer Scott Bell. We are available for after-hours events in the restaurant and catering in your home or business.

Excellent service and even better food. Traditional Authentic Mexican. Convently located on the edge of town near the highway. Relaxing and clean atmosphere with a wonderful history. Check out the back room full of customer photos as well as the history on the walls of a time gone by.

I can only rate the mushroom swiss burger as it’s all I have had the last three times I have been there.
Everything else looks great but I’m stuck (literally)on that burger.
The three times I have had it the burger has not failed. It’s consistent every time. The onion rings are the same. The whole thing is delicious to he point of being obscene. The patties are cooked perfectly. Amazing char to it. The combination of the sautéed mushrooms with white onions and swiss cheese along with the charred green chili elevate this burger to a much higher level. Even the bun is delicious as it’s soaking up all those flavors.
I’ve had big burgers before but this one is a lot. The two patties, onions, mushrooms, swiss cheese, green chili, etc….then I add tomatoes, lettuce, onion and pickle and this thing is a mandatory two hand operation. If you have the intestinal fortitude to demolish the burger and onion rings you will be rewarded with a seriously heavy stomach in the best of ways. You’ll wish the plate was edible. Aside from being heavy in the gut and satisfied you won’t really care if you die on your way home or if you pass away in your sleep that night. You’ll leave earth truly satisfied. It’s so delicious it probably has the power to wipe away all your sins while you’re at it!
If I was on death row, before getting zapped or gassed, this burger would qualify for my last meal. I mean it! I call it my death row burger. I have never called any meal that but at least in the “hamburger” category this one made it. First food ever! Many other food categories yet to fill as death row last meal food but this is one item down.
Is there a burger hall of fame? I don’t know. But if there was I would nominate this one for it. Even two hours after eating it every time I burped I was reliving all the flavors again. It’s that good!!! All this for about $20, drink included.
As long as this is on their menu I don’t care to try anything else. This burger is truly an unexpected gem that I was not expecting in the city of Nogales, AZ!

It’s great for kids I went with my 4 kids and they put us in a different area where my kids where able to walk around the table and not be a bother to elderly people of people that are less than a party of 4 , and we love the big huge pancakes it’s like ihop but 4x better because its flavor or the Mexican food was great even the tortillas flavor and the pancakes not industrial !! Totally recommend

I was told to go to Zula’s for the Zula burger, and I agree, it was tasty. It came with fries, and the price was right. I was too full to try a slice of pie, but I will the next time I’m there. The servers were great, and the place filled up by the time I left.
