Yikes buyer beware! In I pass by this place every day and I’ve never visited decided today was a day. The drive-through is very confusing you make one left to go into the parking lot and you make the second left to go into the drive-through I made the wrong left I made the first left and had to make a U-turn to redirect to the second left this should be better posted. Pull up to the ordering menu and I’m greeted with one word “captains” from the persons voice I can tell it was a young person that did not want to be there. My first time here I tried to inquire about the menu and about the different things that I can choose and pick from the young man was definitely not helpful at all every response I received was in a delayed manner coming from a person that you could tell did not want to be there and definitely did not want to help me. Pulled up the window and was greeted by the manager this guy was a lot more polite and customer oriented explain to me the specials and different things that I could’ve chosen From. When they close the window I looked around I was disgusted by the appearance of the building a closer view it was disgusting to say the least see pictures below. I was the only car here so the process went fairly quickly. I would say the food was OK the fries are stale but the seasoning was good the shrimp was also OK. I would say the captain of the ship jumped off long ago I’ll be leaving this place in my rearview mirror and wishing him good luck with future endeavors.

Been going to Captain’s for years and I just went to the new store on 183rd Street just west of 47th avenue. They cleaned up the place. Nice compared to the old place that was there. Really good lighting. Really good food. I get conch red snapper corn nuggets

Priced extremely reasonable… Service was quick (it was a Sunday about noon)… The blue crabs were a-bit bland, the seasoning is not the normal garlic butter which is usually served with Garlic Crabs, maybe it’s extra or only done by request. Overall, pretty decent, I would go again if I’m in the area but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to get there…

The drive thru service was professional and personable. I visit sparaticlly, the service has been consistently great. The portion size is perfect for lunch and the seasoning is a perfect balance. There is a little wait of maybe 8-10 minutes, providing there aren’t many customers ahead of you, but that should be expected with any seafood establishment.

I had a great experience. I love that you can get whole crabs and not just clusters. The prices are not bad. The mac and cheese could do a little better. The butter sauce with parsley is pretty good too. Customer service was nice. Definitely my new go to.

Great idea of a drive through seafood spot. However, I have been disappointed with the overall or should I say lack of flavor in their food. Had the whole snapper lunch special and the outside had that nice lemon pepper taste but the meat of the fish was beyond bland. The conch fritter balls are decent but have very little conch in them. The customer service also leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Reminds me of the Captain crabs of the old days but with better service. Cashier was pleasant accommodated my order at the window. Food was made fresh and flavorful. Portion size was great for my shrimp po boy. Potatoes were cooked perfectly. I wanted to give a 4.5. Definitely will be back

My friend and I had a taste for crabs and this place came up in my Google search. When we got there we thought the place was shut down because no one was in the drive-thru or the parking lot. We parked for a minute and I called the number listed but didn’t get a response. I forgot to mention that we did go at night. It was like an hour before closing. After a while, we saw someone drive through the drive-thru, which let us know they were open. We ordered the garlic blue crabs and my mom had the fried fish. I forgot which fish it was but she liked it. The crabs were disgusting. We drove pretty far and didn’t know this until we got home so I didn’t want to take them back. The crabs were mushy and smelled too high heaven. I ended up throwing them away. Last week I bought fresh live blue crabs and cooked them myself, it was a totally different experience. Never again would I go to this place.
