Really not sure where this restaurant got 4.8
We walked out of city centre and made huge mistake choosing this place.

Arrival : chef smoking next to the tables serving customers. We ask for a seat at 15:20 they say they close at 16:00. Cool bro,we just wanted to have pizza not 9 course chef tasting menu. If you do not want guests just say it. Would have done us a favor. Indicate time where you can put in order last by example : Kitchen close at 15:30.

Pizza? God… we’ve been 15 days on our trip in Spain and this is by far the worst meal we had. Dry,cheap ingridients and constant side eye when we gonna be done. My partner left more than half of pizza since it was disgusting (picture).
Waiter who is by the way dressed like not working there picked up our plates and pretended leaving half of food is normal.
We paid and left since we dont want drama but even while we were finishing chef already started closing by removing chair. Zero service experience
Zero food experience
If you are even a bit foodie avoid this place for pizza. We have not had any other dishes.

A well-deserved Travelers’ Choice award. A cozy restaurant away from Malaga’s main attractions, but definitely worth a visit. Typical Italian cuisine, very well-prepared dishes. A family atmosphere, with a noticeable presence of locals. The staff speaks excellent English, which isn’t the norm. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant deserves its high rating . Great food, friendly service and in a quiet, set back street. A relaxed and enjoyable meal. What more do you want.

Pizza very mid. I know that you will argue that it is Roma style but it can be much better.
“Salad” that they sell as salad is just plain lettuce with prawns and lemon. I would expect someting more especially if you see others have for appetizer rucola, tomatoes etc.
Last nail in the coffin was when you order large beer and in the menu there is written 60cl but you get a 40cl and if you confront the waitress they will tell you that if he pours over the mark on the glass it is 60cl.

An absolute gem for authentic Italian cuisine in Málaga! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely lady who greeted and served us – her kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. She also offered us small toasts with cheese and pesto.

We started with a Caprese salad featuring smoked mozzarella – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Then came the gnocchi with mozzarella and scamorza affumicata, and the panzerotti with tomato – both dishes were outstanding, with pasta freshly made in-house and cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, balanced, and truly reminiscent of Italy.

We ended the meal with a tiramisu that was just as impressive – creamy, light, and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

A must-visit in Málaga for anyone who loves genuine Italian food, heartfelt hospitality, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Simply excellent!

The staff are nice, and the atmosphere is really good, so let me say that first.

However, having seen the reviews I was expecting much, much better than what we got.

I’d also like to premise this before I get a patronizing comment about not understanding Roma pizza style etc that I have spent 3 months in Italy over the past 3 years, I know what good looks like, and went to a good Italian restaurant in Malaga earlier in the day.

The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza out of a packet from a supermarket. I actually bent the fork I was given trying to cut through it. I would strongly recommend that rather than just dismissing everyone saying this, that you get a proper pizza oven and change your processes as it could be much better.

The chicken cutlet was awful, it also looked like it had been made properly then frozen and fried in the evening. It really wasn’t good.

Like I said though, staff were nice enough, but there is no way on earth that this is a 4.8 restaurant so be aware of that.

I would urge management to actually listen and take on board these reviews, specifically those around the pizza.

Editing post their reply: as I thought, ignorant people that can’t take anything on board, it’s everyone else’s fault. You don’t belong in the restaurant trade and are lucky you live in a country that has such terrible food that mediocre Italian passes as good. I am from London and you would be out of business within a week in a town with good food options.

We order two spaghetti, both were delicious and the price was not expensive, while the food portion was normal, it’s enough for two person. The service was great, they are friendly and helpful. The environment was also nice.
