The atmosphere was nice and quiet. We took ours to go, they got a little confused with the bill and didn’t give us our order of French fries, and they forgot my cherry pie (always check the food before you leave. Make sure you get what youre charged for.

A bit impersonal and aloof atmosphere. You have to order your food first and pay for it before sitting. Then they ask for a tip when you have to get your own drink yourself. Sort of like McDonald’s except McDonald’s doesn’t ask for a tip when u have done a majority the work. Never seen anything like this for a sit down. Some of the female staff is abrasive with their tone. Food is just ok.

My 2nd time at a NCI in the last week. The food brings me back. The only downside at this location is the counter ordering, no waiters/waitresses and cheap plastic plates & utensils. But that’s how things are, post pandemic.

But it’s all about the menu and speed of service. ABSOLUTELY LOVE their food and the fast preparation. The pics say it all!

Did an Uber Eats order. All I wanted was a coney dog and all flat wings. Instead of canceling. They send 2 nasty chicken tender(minis) on a taco n cold fries. I waited an hour for this mess! Never will I ever order from here again! Disgusting

If you’re placing a medium to large size order unfortunately like I typically do for multiple others at work make sure u check your bag prior to leaving. 8/10 times the cooks don’t pay attention and either food is made wrong or missing entirely. If u ask for a remake 1. Make sure to bring your food back or u will be denied and 2. Be prepared for the eye rolls as if asking for all your food to be hot at the same time is frowned upon. Iv given this location multiple chances and seem to get the same result repeatedly. I write this review as iv lost faith with the current staff and don’t plan to return

Pulled up to National coney island for some lunch and it was surprisingly very good. I know everyone has there favorite coney island spot for breakfast or lunch and mine is usually kerbys on 10 mile and northwestern. However it recently closed due to a fire. So I decided to give national a try. National Corey island are known for there pita sandwhiches called Hanis which is similar to a gyro but I think the bread is just a little different. I decided However to try there twisted BLT which is a BLT with turkey. This was a great choice. I odered online and it was ready when I picked it up. The sandwhich was absolutely delicious and it hit the spot. I will definitely repeat to try some other things on the menu.

I walked in sat down and was told from across the restaurant that I had to order from the take out line. So being confused about this, I went up and ordered. Right away the tip screen popped up on the credit card pad. I was confused about it so I didn’t tip if this was going to be cafeteria style situation. I then filled my own take out cup with water and sat down. About 5 minutes later my food was brought out to me on a cafeteria tray and plopped down on the table and the sever left without saying a word. Everything was on take out style containers. Then you had to throw away your own scrap.
I don’t know what is going on with National Coney Island but the whole experience sucked! The fries were undercooked and I asked for chilli with beans and received without beans. And the container was only filled a little more than half way.
Definitely not going back to any National Coney Islands soon. I know that they are always skimpy on the French fries but this whole experience was bad!

Not a good place for lunch. From the time I sat down and got my food, it took 25 minutes. I got the meat lover omelet that was good. I go to the Royal Oak National and they get you in and out quickly. I work in Southfield so I thought I would try it. The inside is really modern looking.
I will give it another chance. Maybe it was just a off day for them.

No waitress. Didn’t know you had to go to the counter to order your food. Food was so, so. The National Coney Island in Royal Oak is a lot better. I will go there from now on.
