The best authentic Mexican Taqueria in Durham, every time I’m in the area for work. I make sure to bring a customer over with me because it is too good of a restaurant not to share. Regardless of what you order the price is reasonable and the quantity is always healthy. They have their own sauce bar so you’re able to get as much as you like. Interior is very accommodating, but I think a makeover would help bring in more diverse customers. Overall, a must try!

This is place is so good! They have a salsa bar, the staff are great, and even better the food is amazing! They serve mojitos and margaritas along with frescas and sodas. There are plenty of tables and the food is worth any wait.

We just had the suadero huarache platter and asada tacos — absolutely amazing! Flavor was spot on, portions were generous, prices super cheap, and the staff (as always) were wonderful. A perfect meal all around! ✨

Great place for authentic Mexican fare. I ordered the beef tongue burrito, asked how big it was… was told “not so big” so also ordered a taco – turns out the burrito was fairly large. In the picture I am only showing 1/2 of it. I was still full at dinner time. Both were full of flavor and the condiment bar was well stocked to spice it up any way you want. Will be back! 13/10

Service at this place is incredible. We had a party of 6 and all had our food within 15 minutes on a busy Sunday night! All the staff is very nice and the food was incredible.

The Cuban torta was amazing and I found definitely reccomend it, as well as all the tacos. The tortillas are homemade and taste awesome. Very budget friendly as well.

A few things have changed and the quality of some meat items has become questionable. Al pastor and carnitas seem to be made poorly and have lost their texture and flavor. Like eating plane pulled pork. As chefs is disappointing that a place you could count on has changed so much. The atmosphere at times reminded me of waiting in line at Walmart loud and annoying.

The restaurant was dirty, and the employee named Kelly (I asked for her name and was rudely told that was it) was extremely rude. When I asked for salsa verde, I was told they did not have any left. However, I waited outside the restaurant for 10 minutes and saw them refill the salsa station, as shown in the picture below. I then requested to pay for two small containers of salsa verde, which is all I needed.

When I asked for pico de gallo, they took my containers and filled them with very little pico. I purchased three pounds of taco meat, not one, and my sister also purchased two pounds of meat for her household.

Overall, I was very unsatisfied with the food quality this time and the attitude of the employees. I come here to purchase food and expect the same good service as any other customer. I would appreciate a response and a follow-up on this matter.

The biggest letdowns were the powdered horchata it’s surprising to be served powdered flavored water at a Mexican restaurant and the chocolate atole, which tasted like everything except chocolate.

The tortillas were very poor quality and fell apart easily.

Great food, awesome value and very clean. Two large Chili Rellanos, perfect rice and beans, small salad and five corn tortillas for $8. So much food I just had the leftovers for lunch. Rolled Chicken Tacos (largest I’ve ever seen) combo plate for $8. We’re still eating them today. Update: finally got a chance to return a couple days ago and this time we brought our granddaughter. I got the same Chile Rellano combination plate, now $10, and we shared that along with an order of rice and beans. Still couldn’t finish it all. We got there a little early for lunch and had to place to ourselves. When we left the place was packed. Ample parking behind the building or the parking lot right next-door.
