I have been on the Mediterranean diet since June, and was traveling for work in Colorado Springs. I was looking for a place to eat and needed to accommodate myself and my coworkers, dietary restrictions and preferences. Google suggested Modern Market Eatery, and I’m so glad! The food is delicious- fresh, healthy and flavorful. I loved this place so much we ate here 3 times on our business trip. I later learned it’s a local chain so I’ll be sure to visit other locations when I’m here for work.

I was in the area and wanted to try something different. Healthy menu items! The young gal helped me right away when I walked in. I told her I have an online order to pick up. I actually tipped them online but I gave her a little extra because of her positive attitude and professionalism. The place looks clean and there were some customers left eating there. Overall looks like a clean place.
However, when we got home we checked our order and it was missing avocado on the Shrimp BLT which is a chef’s bowl. On my item I got the Curry Salmon Bowl but replaced it with Tofu. Didn’t get the Tofu. I also added roasted corn, cucumbers, and red onions which cost extra but didn’t receive any of it. I just have to be careful with Salmon since I can only limit eating seafood as I have gout. Ive already had Salmon three days this week. That’s why I opted for Tofu.
So I could’ve ordered it wrong and checked out my email. All it showed is the Curry Salmon Bowl and Salad Shrimp BLT. I wonder if the system doesn’t print out the modifications on the receipt?
It was close to closing time. I ordered around 8pm. I got there around 8:15pm so I understand it was late and they were probably closing the kitchen. Especially on a Friday night.
I want to try this place again though whenever im in the area.

Healthy food at a fairly reasonable price, great customer service when you come in and order and the seating area on the inside is actually really fantastic. Lots of unique drink choices as well and overall a pleasant experience. I do recommend!

I’ve been eating here for a long time now. Favorites are the salmon bowl, Buddha bowl, and garlic mushroom pizza. Yesterday we tried the hummus and vegetable appetizer. The ingredients seem high quality, and it is hard to find any restaurant that has healthy food that tastes this good. Just as an example, the hummus appetizer impressed me. The hummus was delicious, while each vegetable was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Whoever designs their menu is very skilled and the execution in the restaurant is reliably high-level.

I ordered an Urban Farmer salad, a half Pepe pizza, and two drinks. When ordering, I specifically asked that sweet potatoes be excluded from my salad and requested extra goat cheese, which I was willing to pay for. The cashier suggested substituting fall vegetables instead, and I agreed.
Despite this, my salad still contained sweet potatoes, which tasted undercooked and unpleasant and made the salad largely inedible for me. In addition, the extra goat cheese I requested was not included. My receipt reflected the fall vegetable modification but does not show the extra goat cheese, confirming the order was not entered correctly. I tipped the cashier like an idiot, and she still got my order wrong. Why offer a substitution which contained something I specifically asked not to include? When I needed extra silverware, the cashier was nowhere to be found, so I ended up taking one from the cook station. Under staffed at 1pm? There was also trash and dishes left on all majority of the tables, so only a few choices to sit- which was near the drafty door.
I contacted their “guest relations” and they gave me this vague reply. I was wanting to get a refund but they decided to give me a FIVE dollar coupon code. I laughed in disbelief when I saw it. Modern market used to be a great place to eat, but I can see why it’s nearly empty compared to when I tried it years ago. Do not eat here if you value great service and treated with respect when clearly they dropped the ball.

I went Saturday night (1/3/26) and Sophie and one other person was there. I placed a pick up order but when I got there it wasn’t ready. I sat and watched Sophie run around doing everything – register, making food, helping guests, etc. I ended up just eating there after it was ready. She was phenomenal and it deserves to be recognized! She went above and beyond and it was super refreshing to see her working so hard and keeping a calm demeanor. Great job all the way around and the food was amazing too!!

First time ever at a modern market. Will definitely be going back! I got a Buddha bowl with added sweet potato and the cranberry oat cookie. Both were amazing! The bowl had lovely fresh ingredients. The cookie was sweet salty and sour. The bowl was so big I ate half for dinner and will eat the other half for lunch tomorrow.
Service was excellent including the cashier and cook. A team member going in for her shift even held the door open for me when I was 15ft behind her.
There was one table with a dish on it and a couple with crumbs on them but over all clean environment. Plus everyone was working on other things so at least they were not standing around.
Would highly recommended!

It was my first visit to Modern Market Eatery. I took my time reading over the menu and decided on the Flatiron Salad.
Everything is prepared fresh, so I took a seat and the food was brought out once ready. The restaurant decor is light, eclectic and inviting. My food came out quickly, the salad looked delicious.
The Steak was warm, tendor and flavorful. I enjoyed the pickled Red Onions. Overall the meal was enjoyable. The service is decent for a quick serve restaurant, though they could be a bit more happy to see their customers.
If you are looking for a casual meal, I would recommend checking out Modern Market Eatery.

I had an outstanding experience! The Smoky Chicken Bowl and Tomato Basil Soup were both absolutely delicious and generously portioned, making for a satisfying meal. The service was friendly, though recommendations were not offered. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!

Very happy with our food. My kids both had pepperoni pizza. My husband had the chicken bacon club sandwich that was seriously to die for, and I ordered the farmer 2.0 salad. Also delicious. The staff was really friendly as well. We will definitely be back for more!
