Walking into this Latino restaurant feels like stepping into a celebration. The vibrant colors, upbeat Latin music, and warm greetings from the staff instantly set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. There’s an energy here that’s both inviting and exciting—like being welcomed into a friend’s home for a special gathering.
The menu is a delicious journey through Latin America, showcasing the best of traditional flavors with a fresh, modern twist. Every dish I tried was bursting with authenticity and made with obvious care. The tacos were a standout—soft, freshly made tortillas filled with perfectly seasoned meats, fresh vegetables, and just the right kick of spice. The ceviche was bright and refreshing, with citrusy tang and tender seafood that tasted like it had just been caught.
But the true magic is in the details: the rich, smoky aroma of grilled dishes, the vibrant salsas made from scratch, and the way every plate is presented with artistry. The portions are generous, and the flavors are bold yet balanced, making each bite an exciting surprise.
The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share recommendations, even explaining the origins of certain dishes. It added an extra layer of appreciation for the culture and traditions behind the food.
Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, a lively dinner with friends, or a romantic date night, the atmosphere adapts perfectly. It’s a place where you can linger over a plate of empanadas, sip a tangy margarita, and lose track of time.
In short, this restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it’s a celebration of Latino heritage, community, and joy. If you’re looking for bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a dining experience that leaves you smiling long after the last bite, this is the place to be.

Really good restaurant, has good decoration, is clean, the service is good, effective and welcoming. The wait for the food isn’t long. The servings are of considerable size, filling adult men. The taste, size/price ratio is really good and accesible. The food itself tastes really good, every time I go, I try to eat something new, and now once have I had a bad experience there. Really good restaurant.

ALWAYS a wonderful visit to LA Siesta. We were recently in Boston for an evening out and headed a few miles away for delicious food and beverages. We previously frequented another location that has since closed. We loved catching up with the familiar staff and had a great meal!!

As someone from the south who has high expectations for Mexican food, this place does not disappoint! Every meal I’ve had is delicious and extremely consistent. The owner even comes out to check in on customers and is very passionate about the food and its history. It’s a hidden gem!

Mexican hangover dish is very tasty especially alongside a few drinks. A large bar and plenty of seating. Overall a very good place. A great place to go for brunch with excellent service. Consistency is this place.

Had the pork and Ravioli lobster specials, and they were delicious. You would think that because they are the specials, they’d be more expensive, but that was not the case (THANK YOU). I was in a Margarita mood, they were good, but not strong, I’m a fan of spicey drinks so maybe add a crushed jalapeño drink with a tajín rim to the menu…The service was great, they even gave us samples of the sauces to taste. I will definitely go back… went back, and it didn’t disappoint. Best margaritas around, had a green tea shot, definitely worth it

My second visit in two weeks and it was absolutely awesome both times. The margaritas are great, although do remember to ask them to salt the rim. The cucumber jalapeno margarita was great, as well the steak beef taco specials that come with beans & rice, as well as the fish soft tacos. However, the best were the freshly made nachos with their house made salsa!

The tacos are good , although they are very tex mex style. By adding cheese, and lettuce and also they have a exquisite amount of sauces from hot to mild. It was delicious .

Second time this summer I’ve been there. Surprisingly got the same server (Gianna) again. She remembered us and even remembered where we sat the last time we were there. This girl is amazing! She can recite the entire menu front to back, but what really for me is I can tell her what I like and what I don’t like and she will recommend what I should get and tell me why. She is honestly the best waitress you could ask for. Any time I go there I’ll ask fir Gianna, girl is amazing and made my dinning experience so much better

La Siesta is one of those neighborhood spots you can always count on. Great Mexican food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. It’s not trying to be fancy — it’s just consistently good, and that’s why it’s a Winthrop favori
