Ordered chicken and waffles honey-dipped over cheddar scallion waffles, served with coleslaw. I love that the waffles are served with maple syrup and also a hot sauce. And I ordered a side of Mac & cheese topped with cornbread crumble. Sooo good. And they give you free dessert – lil chocolate donuts.

After moving away from Brooklyn nine years ago, I finally made my way back to Dallas BBQ, and let me tell you, it was everything I remembered and more.
The food was exactly how I’ve been craving it all these years, amazing flavor, great quality, and that same signature taste that no one else can replicate. I always go for the sticky tenders, and there is truly nowhere else that sells anything even close to them. They’re unmatched! The price as well was amazing! It feels good to be able to go out and not have to spend your life saving just for lunch!
The drinks were just as good as I remembered, strong, flavorful, and actually worth the money. You’re not just paying for an overpriced slushie, you can genuinely taste (and feel ) the alcohol. Every sip was worth it.
Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. He kept checking in on us, made sure every request was handled with care, and even surprised us with dessert. Not once did I feel like I was being a bother, he made us feel so welcomed. That kind of service makes all the difference.
The photographer walking around was such a nice touch too. I ended up buying a cartoon version of my family, and it honestly brought so much joy to the day. I felt like a tourist in my own old neighborhood.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to update the carpet. It’s been there since I can remember, and it has developed a bit of an old odor. But once the food and service came, I was able to fully enjoy the experience.
With the quality of the food and the amazing service, this place can truly stay a hit forever. So happy I came back, it felt like coming home.

Almost identical with original west 72nd location, I miss a lot, still good BBQ, tad over cooked texas style beef bbq ribs, like slimy texture was too much cooked. As usual baby back rib with sticky sauce is the best. Can’t skip the onion loaf

The food wasn’t really good and came cold, The restaurant itself looked nothing like as it was advertised on google, the drinks Look nothing like the picture, Some of the non alcoholic drinks are apparently no longer being sold so I believe the menu should be updated. We were seated only a few inches near to another table which I didn’t like. Overall the service was nice but I will most definitely not be coming back here. + to leave the place, its like im going to war with the door.

I honestly haven’t been to this place in YEARS, but my aunt chose it for her wedding dinner—and wow, I’m so glad she did. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was excellent. Our server was attentive and kind, and every dish we tried was delicious. It felt like the perfect spot for a special occasion. I’d definitely come back again!

The chicken was nice and shiny with the sauce but tough like rubber. Shrimp was excellent but I almost got a Charly horse in my jaw on that touch skin and rubbery meat.

We decided to have dinner here on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. Most of us ordered wings but unfortunately the wings were not fully cooked, even though she asked for them well done. We got 2 orders of fries and they were both stale … apart from that ; I got the Shrimp tacos & I’d get it again.. definitely a 10/10. The frozen drinks were Delicious , prices are fair and staff is attentive
