Mexican Restaurant in a strip mall…. Typical….. but wait the food was amazing and service and 2 story decor!!!! Street corn dip awesome, homemade gauc awesome, Beria tacos and enchiladas awesome…. We’re traveling but will be back, try everything I just mentioned!!!

About 2 years ago I found this restaurant after unknowingly eating sub-par Tex-Mex my entire life. I have tried most everything on the menu (check out the photo gallery), and I have never been disappointed in the food. The plates are overflowing/well garnished and the prices are incredibly cheap. They had a very small price increase recently and just updated their menus.
My favorites are the burritos deluxe (beef), enchiladas tapatias (chicken), nachos al carbon (mixed), flautas (beef), and chicken & mushroom fajitas. You are going to love it!
* I did order the beef taco salad and it was a watery bowl of wilted lettuce and oil from the beef. It was NOT appetizing and I will not get that ever again. I ate two bites and had to push it away and share a friend’s food.

Me and my wife had a date night and we haven’t tried this place and wanted something different. Loved it. I got a trio chimichanga and my wife got a fajita bowl. And we got a dip called my friends dip (beef, pico de gallo and cheese sauce.) The drink was a 32oz Michelob draft. The atmosphere was nice and calming and the waitress was very nice and polite. So all and all found my new favorite Tex mex restaurant. Will be back.

Ok maybe I’m not doing this little spot enough justice but it wasn’t the best to me. Or maybe I should have gotten something of note worthy idk. Got the birria tacos came with 3 for 14 bucks. Im not sure if the shell is fresh I’m thinking it isn’t but you never know it came apart to easy which had me thinking it wasn’t. But anyway my only gripe not enough cheese and the shells aren’t crispy enough you pick them up they fall apart. The sauce to dip doesn’t have any substance I can’t taste the different flavors or any heat. Maybe not a good dish to judge them by looking at other reviews but this is my experience. Will give another shot if I’m in the area in the future.

Had an excellent experience last night while we were in Tupelo. Highly recommend the margaritas, chori queso dip and especially the Tupelo burrito… BTW the burrito is HUGE!!!!

Don Julio never disappointes. They always serve fresh food and they also have goo deals on drinks. I ordered the Chicken Soup and Chicken Alfredo Pasta. They were delicious.

Place is beautifully designed.. the interiors are catchy..
There was no waiting when we reached there.. we got our table quickly but we had to wait for long just to place our order as no one came to us for long after serving complimentary chips and salsa.. thank god we had those chips!! Well, when we at last placed our order we again waited long for our food to be served. And after all that waiting I was hoping for a scrumptious meal as i was starving.. but sadly, food was just ok .. not too good.. not too bad. After the meal, when we went to the counter, i was surprised to see the queue over there waiting near the billing counter.. seriously..!!!!
There were few regulars there, i guess who were saying that staff was short that day otherwise service is very good here.. Well, i dont know about that as I went there for the first time and i will always gonna remember this visit for waiting.. waitingg and more waitinggg.. no one likes to wait for that long..
the environment in there, interiors, the feel was good though.. still, for me it was an okay visit and an okay dinner..
