A Truly Exceptional Experience — Blessed Hands BBQ Lives Up to Its Name
When an ice storm was rolling in and most restaurants were closed, I was scrambling to find a way to feed nearly 50 guys who had been working 12‑hour shifts around the clock for days. These crews were exhausted, cold, and hadn’t had a real hot meal in a long time — and with the weather getting worse, it wasn’t looking like they’d get one anytime soon.
Blessed Hands BBQ changed everything.
Ms. Brenda answered the phone when no one else did, and the moment I explained what we were trying to do, she didn’t hesitate for a second. She and her family opened their kitchen just for us and made sure every single person was taken care of. They went above and beyond in every possible way.
And the food? Absolutely exceptional. These guys devoured it. After days of nothing but quick bites and whatever they could grab on the go, this meal lifted spirits in a way that’s hard to describe. You could feel the gratitude in the room.
