This was my first time at Fireside. Food was delicious and service (bar) was great. We asked for carrots instead of broccolini and the server was amazing and convincing to the kitchen staff. All was great and will definitely go back. The fruitini is amazing too!!

Got together with friends for a celebration dinner. Our server was great. Nice happy hour, the shrimp cocktail was excellent. One of their specials was a Weller tasting flight. They also offered a Pappy flight. I had the filet which was a perfect medium and an old fashioned. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is cozy but elegant, with natural textures like wood and leather and expansive views of the beautiful Detroit Lake.
The service is warm, friendly, and polite, and they give you time to savor each course.
The food is high quality and expertly prepared. Everything is absolutely perfect. I will be back again and again for special events!

While any restaurant can be waterfront, The Fireside far exceeded our expectations in terms of relaxing ambiance, a stellar cheeseboard that was better than the ones I get in DC, delicious and thoughtfully prepared mains, and truly crafted cocktails. Since it can get busy during dinner rush, I recommend coming early or making reservations. Tosha was our waitress and knocked it out of the park. The Fireside has my highest personal recommendation.

We have been to Fireside multiple times and have always had a great experience. We typically sit on the patio when the weather is nice. I’d recommend the ahi tuna or Parmesan chicken. They have good happy hour specials 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Best food and drinks I’ve ever had and beautiful view of the lake! The Perry’s Manhattan was the owner/our servers recommendation which him created in dedication to his father and it was incredible, never had a drink like that in my life!

Absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious, our server Barb was so nice and just amazing! The portions were generous as well. The plates, and cheese boards were so cool. Then you add the view of the sun setting over the lake! Just fantastic!

Great food, great service, great experience. My wife and I had the almond crusted walleye and the ribeye steak. Both were great and the steak cooked perfectly. We were not rushed and given time to enjoy each course and drinks.
If I had to give a negative I would say skip the add on scallops to make the steak surf and turf. Although the scallops were good, their was only two small scallops for $11. Just not worth it to us. But that’s a very minor set back. And you get plenty of food with your order(salad, bread, sides)
We would highly recommend and we will certainly be going back.
