Never had Persian cuisine before and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The waiter was extremely helpful giving recommendations and explaining the food. The interior is very nice and feels like a very formal place to eat but the dress code was relaxed. I strongly recommend getting the dolmas and pickled vegetables for the appetizer. And you need to finish off with a desert of the saffron and Rose water ice cream. Parking is pretty limited and if you go during peak hours expected to be very busy. I was strongly recommend getting a reservation.

My friend recommend this place to me and after looking at the menu, I decided to go there. It was on a weekday and there were not many customers inside, maybe 3 tables. The staff were super nice and attentive. They recommend dishes that were great and when they brought the foods they saw that I had airpods in my ears (I was just watching Youtube since I went alone) and she spoke to me by whispering. This shows how much they care because I could have been on a call or something. The restaurant is well decorated with nice ambient music. The foods were delicious. I love the appetizer (eggplant with yogurt) and the kabab were flavorful and tender. The eggplant soup I took home was well packed and very good as well. I also tried Persian tea and it was nice and aromatic and they brought it at the right temperature. I will definitely be back for other dishes in the menu and recommend this place to anyone looking for good foods.

First time visiting Sumac Cafe and it was amazing!!! The food was phenomenal and you could really taste how fresh and handmade everything was! So much care and detail is put into the presentation too! The atmosphere was so cozy and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive! 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be going back!!

Simply delicious. Our group of friends enjoyed a variety of starters and entrees, beginning with a salad and sampler platter, which included an incredible Mirza ghasemi (eggplant based).
Having never been before, I went with the lamb shank and was blown away. A few friends had the soltani, also full of flavor and generously portioned.
I flew over 2,000 miles here for a ski trip, and if I can make it back, this is a must-have going forward. Wow!

Recently tried this place after trying another persian place in the area. Sumac is 11/10, and I was blown away. Although I am not too familiar with Persian cuisine, the flavor and textures of the meal I ordered were incredible. I would recommend the Lamb shank and the Beef barg (filet mingon). The cucumber/tomato salad was also very tasty

They honestly deserve 10 stars. We’ve been here multiple times and the food is always delicious! Doesn’t matter the time of day, how busy or slow they are, everything is always amazing. I recommend the chicken and beef kabobs, they’re so juicy and flavorful. Don’t forget the tiramisu for dessert, it’s a MUST!

This is seriously one of the best places I’ve eaten at EVER. We just moved here from Texas, where we have really good Persian cuisine, but we were blown away by Sumac Cafe. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, flavorful and they gave us an amazing portion. 0 complaints.

Persian food you will not want to miss out on. The atmosphere is majestic and the food will make you want to come back guaranteed. They use the top spices and meats in their plates. Don’t be shy about ordering anything it’s all delicious.

We had this Persian restaurant cater our wedding for 250 guests, and they absolutely blew us away! The food was beyond delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the kabobs, rice, and appetizers!

This place was amazing! We went here because of the good reviews and online recommendations, and it delivered. We got the hummus appetizer, my husband got a vegetarian eggplant dish and I had the Cornish game hen, which was so perfectly cooked, super juicy and a little crispy. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.
