Really hate to leave a 1 star review because our family has always loved this place. However, the last time we ordered takeout I found a dead stink bug in my side garden salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the bug until I had already eaten about a third of the salad. I’ve never been so disgusted and disappointed with an order. We’ll be taking a break from eating here. Hopefully, they’ll do better in the future.

The food is very good. They offer choices you just don’t see in other places. I love the Italian beef & Italian sausage combo with hot peppers. Add the cheese fries and chocolate shake. It’s hard to beat in my opinion. They need to get one in the south metro.

I was visiting with family and never heard of Portillos. The menu was easy to read and showed burgers, hot dogs, and desert. At 1st thought I was like what could this place offer me that another couldn’t? Answer: Everything! Price right for the food quality! A sit down type fast food leaning towards restaurant. Example: Fazollis. (Without a drive-thru!) The Burger was amazing!!!!! I never eat my left overs but I did with this burger. My sister got a cake that was awesome, but she had a strawberry shortcake as well, and when I put that in my mouth I was in Shortcake heaven. I mean I rarely ever close my eyes murmuring and enjoying every second of flavor. I would recommend this place to everyone hands down!!!!!

My husband and I always come here for a bite. Everything is always amazing and delicious.
July 22nd at 3:42pm. We received our order. And to my surprised the chicken was quite the kid side for a chicken burger (see picture). I ordered the usual Char-Broiled Chicken Sandwich. Usually, the meat is not that small. And if we’re paying $33 for these meals, the food should also be as big as how much we’re paying for it. I also compared it to the small fries. I was eating more bread than meat.

I love Portillo’s. I recommend the dipped roast beef with peppers. Their hamburgers were a surprise, The burger was amazing. I’m not a crinkle fry guy but Portillo’s fries taste like they were dropped in beef tallow, tasty and crispy. The food is made to order so it always fresh and hot. If you don’t fill up on your meal, their chocolate cake is better than your mother’s.

My daughter and I came here for the first time together, we normally have only gone to the original Chicago locations. I just wanted to say that Alan who helped me check out, went above and beyond my normal customer service interactions!! There were also two other employees that day who I asked for help with the app, thanks to them for suggesting I go up to the register and could easily fix my dilemma! I was so impressed by how friendly all of the staff was and happy to help!! It was 4pm on a Saturday, our food was hot n’ ready before I was even able to finished getting our drinks filled and back to our table! The location was clean and an enjoyable atmosphere!
Price wise I would say has increased from what I remember. Normally you weren’t being charged for each individual toppings such as peppers, cheese ect., it was always included, so that definitely surprised me! So yes, it was a little spendy for the two of us, it was still good food, but higher than I expected. That also has nothing to do with the employees or their own say so, so there’s no reason to take it out on them… that’s a corporate decision!

Was really excited when this initially opened years ago. The food is always very good, but lately it seems to take longer and longer to receive it.
Especially when dining in, for an assembly line process (for Chicago Beef Sandwiches & Hot Dogs specifically) it shouldn’t take 20-25 minutes to make/get ready.
If the food got out a little quicker, I’d frequent this place more often.

I live in MN. Grew up outside of Chicago. I love Portillos. This morning my son and I went to Portillos in Woodbury. The food was great, as usual. It’s fun and clean in the restaurant. The two people I had the pleasure of interacting with were genuinely friendly and customer service focused. Obviously I commend these two people
