The girls here including the man who I think wants to be treated as a girl, all have faces that are devoid of human expression. I have been a partner many years ago in Orange County and these people at this location don’t like their jobs or their uniforms now require the same facial expressions. I get the same triple espresso at the Target next door. The girl there knows my order and always just smiles, no conversation just acknowledgement & the anticipation of my order and I can’t even tip her! Starbucks used to train that in their baristas – must be this new generation.

I came in through the drive thru ordered 35$ dollars worth of drinks, the guy seemed to be having a bad day and gave me such a bad attitude seeming to be mad I ordered a lot of drinks? When handing my drink I expected to be asked if I wanted a drink carrier since I had a lot of drinks but I wasn’t? He gave me no straws which was annoying since I was already leaving and not wanting to come back. Since I have so many drinks and no drink carrier, I dropped one drink completely in my car making a big mess not having anything to clean it with, so now I need to clean my car and be lost of 6$ from this drink. This is the worst service and day of trying to get Starbucks in this location, I’ve never had this problem in other stores so now I know not to come here! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Young man and a slightly older Miss at the register are always super nice. I’m only giving 3 stars because every time I order food from here, the sandwiches are squished. Customer service is great though.

My drink was watered down and tasted like “coffee flavored ” water. This is a new location for me, I should have stuck to my original starbucks I always go to. However, I was in a different area so thought I would give this location a chance. Customer service was not it either. Should have known that this place would bomb my drink, based off of other reviews.

This has been our top pick for Starbucks in the El Cajon area . However , the barista working the window weekday mornings really needs to stop scolding people about mobile orders. My mobile order from 5 min ago is still more time than if I’d ordered at the speaker . Just not good customer service

Very slow but it was busy so understandable. Had drive thru. Pay using app definitely very convenient and makes process faster. Love their dragonfruit lemonade, sooo good!

STARBUCKS SAVES THE DAY! After being misinformed with false hope at my hotel check-in that the breakfast buffet was going to be open for grab and go; which instead meant the “breakfast” was being handed in a bag of cheap quality gross food that I later gave to a panhandler in a different city. As I checked out of my hotel, I immediately Googled for the nearest Starbucks which wound up being a short drive away, so Starbucks I came. I had the impossible breakfast “burger” and a standard large latte. That ¿burger thing? was almost as good as the normal Hampton Inn breakfast. Difficultly, it is a food item one can eat while holding onto the bag with gloved hands (that contactless style of eating takes practice). Boy, I’m sure glad there was a Starbucks nearby. The latte is just a fulfilling Starbucks Latte that I can’t expect any reader to have never tried. In fact, this Starbucks has great parking and one of the most truly fun energetic staffs (I think Number 1) of all the about 25 different Starbucks’ that I have stopped at. The best example was how the pastry lady was so slick and “dancy” with those tongs for the oven and the bag. Of course, all of them were wearing gloves and masks and there definitely were visible smiles in their eyes. That was truly one of the greatest Starbucks experiences I have ever had, with or without their super-smooth covid adjustments – which the WITH was the true case. I wish my hometown San Rafael Starbucks’ had that fun slick gamey service!
4 YEARS LATER after visiting the newly achieved second best (Grants Pass, Oregon), this experience still stands as my number 1 Starbucks of now about 40.

Ugh. This is the third time I’ve been here and they made my order wrong I’m just never gonna go back. This time I tried to order a drink and they said they didn’t have the drink but could make something else similar. I said no thanks and ordered my tried and true. When she handed it it me, I could immediately tell something was off – it was totally the wrong color. I thought the best and drove off… Took one sip and NOPE!!! It was DEFINITELY NOT WHAT I ordered But I was exhausted and didn’t feel like going back to hash it out (since this ghas happened before). I checked the label and what’s crazy is it says what’s *supposed* to be in there but that’s not what they put in there. Third time’s out – I’m never going back to this location again. Fam… This ain’t it.
