Recently moved to Circle pines decided to try the carbones out here cause we didn’t wanna go out we wanted to have pizza delivered. Went to put the order in and they only offer delivery through grub hub which I refuse to use do to very poor experiences with them. That’s kind of a let down but not a huge deal since we live like 2 minutes away. Put in the order then I came on here to get the exact address cause I knew it was close but wasn’t sure where it was located. Started reading some pretty negative reviews about service and food declining since new owners. Burnt food missing items long wait times small marinara sauce cups and overall just bad service. Definitely made me wish I would of checked the reviews ahead of time. The order was already placed though and the wife kids and myself were hungry so I didn’t cancel the order. Figured id just see what happens. Well im pleased to say everything was perfect. Marinara sauce cups were a good size with plenty of sauce. The food was cooked to perfection. Pizza good cheese curds were excellent salad was good pizza fries were different than im used to (super thin crust) but were also very good. Order was ready when it was supposed to be and no missing items. Besides the delivery option it was 5 stars on everything. Apparently they have taken the advice from the negative reviews and corrected those issues. I have not dined in so I cant comment on that but do intend to go jn there sometime. If your hesitant to order (because of the reviews) or were not happy with an order in the past I say give them a chance. It appears they listen to the customers and take the corrective action needed to improve. Probably should of took the pix of my food before everyone started devouring it but like I said we were hungry

The pizzas are small with limited toppings, have no flavor and over are priced compared to other shops, the 4 servers couldn’t seem to handle the 4 occupied tables or manage to clean off vacant ones. A lot of the normal seating is done seems they want to be a bar more than a restaurant wont be going back.

Ordered 2 10 inch pizzas. One house Special and a sausage pepperoni. Pizzas were not a Carbones’s Pizza. Tasted like garbage. Usually pretty good. Don’t know if they changed something but it was not good. Wife and I are about 3-4 pieces off or pizza and threw the rest away. It was that bad.

I’ve never encountered a restaurant or pizza place with as many issues handling online orders and deliveries as this one. I placed an order through GrubHub and arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later, only to receive an email stating my order was canceled due to their system being down—again. This place seems to change their ordering software constantly, which clearly isn’t working for them. They should consider returning to basics: answering the phone and writing orders down manually. If they can’t manage reliable delivery drivers, they should stop offering delivery altogether until they resolve these persistent issues.

Pizza, pasta, hoagies oh my!
Been here a couple times, never been disappointed. Most recently ordered the chickem fettuccine alfredo and parmesan chicken pastas. Both were very good, top 10 for sure, maybe better. Garlic cheese bread was good, but a little underwhelming. Seemed like nothing more than bread with melted cheese on top, just barely toasted. Not enough to keep us from returning.

This place use to be a Mn staple here, now it’s just a dumpster fire. We are done with this place every order is wrong, quality of food down, timing of their service when ordered is wrong. Don’t waste your time and money with this place anymore. Lived here for 11 years now never seen such bad quality of pizza fries if that’s even what these are suppose to be, because nothing else on the menu has ever looked this bad. Ordered a pepperoni pizza instead got three cheese and these so called pizza fries lol!

Carbone’s makes delicious local pizza. Classic square cuts. We ordered the House Special for takeout and ate it down by Golden Lake Park 5 minutes away.
