I walked here and Ismael is super friendly and passionate about cooking. The croquetas are the best with fresh local sea food, as well as having your typical spanish tapas. Great for a quick bite or filling meal. There’s also a gift shop and walkable garden with butterflies and birds right next to it. It’s my go to spot in Key Largo.

Great experience. Definitely loved the croquettes and assorted cheeses. The shrimp (Gambas) with garlic was delicious and they gave us bread for the garlic sauce and their specialty house sauce that was awesome. I like the service.

My husband and I stayed just up the street and wandered over one evening. I used to live in Spain, so was hopeful we might get some decent food, as the menu looked really good.
I could not have been more blown away. The food was INCREDIBLE! Gambas al ajillo were the best I’ve ever had. Great croquetas, and super tasty seafood paella. Ismael was the friendliest, nicest owner ever.
It was a quiet night so we stayed and hung out with him after the meal, sharing stories, music, and friendship. It was an incredibly memorable night and we definitely hope to make it back some day.
This guy’s food is so amazing, I hope the next time we’re down there he has a full restaurant to serve even more people. <3

We had the best time at Ibericos and can’t recommend it enough. The food is absolutely delicious – we had Gambas al Ajilo and mixed Croquetas for starters, then the Paella for two. Ismael is the most wonderful person. He loves to cook and loves to share his food with people. After dinner he sat with us and we had drinks, played music, and chatted forever! I can’t wait to come back and see him again

What a find. Saw the Iberico sign as I was driving by and was surprise that I haven’t noticed It before. Pulled in to a food truck in front of an outdoor adventure spot with a couple of tables. So glad I stayed to try some of the menu items. Lobster croquettes were delicious with a balsamic glaze and cilantro sauce. The Gambas al ajillo were bubbling and delicious. As a big fan of pulpo I was not disappointed the onions and the peppers really complimented the dish. Don’t forget to ask if he’s making any soup when you go, I scored a seafood soup with a little Parmesan on top. Nice to see a solid new spot in this area. Can’t praise it enough.

He clearly is passionate about flavors, and you enjoying his food.
Our party of 4 decided to order a bunch of assorted dishes to share. The steak, OMG, where did those flavors come from? The assorted croquets (cod was my favorite), the cheese stuffed peppers, the Shrimp, and the homemade lemonade made every bite and sip a delight.
This is what a lunch or dinner in the Keys should be.
