This was one of the best dinning experiences we have ever had in central New York. We did the wine paring along with our dinner. Each course was perfectly prepared and plated. The atmosphere in the restaurant created a warm and relaxing environment. There was the humm of movement but nothing felt rushed or hurried. The courses came out with perfect timing along with amazing descriptions from the wait staff. If you are looking for a place to have an amazing meal you won’t be disappointed by making a reservation here.

Drove in from out of state and decided to try this place out and it did not disappoint! We had the four course meal with the pairing and everything was made to perfection. Each course was cooked perfectly and had great flavors and textures. It was a meal we will never forget and if they have the Salted and Burnt Honey Pie, you need to get it! It is to die for.

Wow! Dan, the lead sommelier and our server, elevated this meal from a 10/10 to a 100/10. He walked us through each wine pairing with such passion and knowledge, making the entire experience unforgettable. The scallops were unreal, perfectly seared and bursting with flavor. The pear and lemon risotto was one of the most unique and refreshing dishes I’ve had in a long time. Every bite felt intentional and beautifully balanced.
If you’re anywhere near the Finger Lakes, this spot is an absolute must. Incredible food, world-class wine, and service that makes you feel like royalty. We’ll be talking about this meal for years.

This was an amazing meal. All four courses were great, the fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked, the raw scallops were a treat, the sausage was so flavorful I almost got the vegetarian option but am so glad I didn’t! They have all finger lakes wine, we didn’t have any but it looked like everyone was enjoying it.
The vibe was so cool and chill, highly recommend.

Unique experience in a unique setting. Certainly not a place you might stumble across as it is located literally in the ‘middle of nowhere’. Adds to the overall ‘culinary journey’.
Wine pairings offer an opportunity to sample some locally sourced products you might otherwise not be aware of but do add significantly to the bill.Kudos for locally sourcing almost everything on the menu.
Only minor issue was that the steak was served medium well. Would have much preferred medium to medium rare. Still very tender and moist – just a believer that a good steak should be served no more than a medium cook. Swiss chard bedding added an interesting element that we enjoyed.
Strawberry cheesecake was a standout with a lighter density and a fresh bright flavor .
Scallops were fantastic and the whipped feta appetizer was her favorite.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good. Wine pairings were decent. It’s great they offer so many Finger Lakes wines! The complimentary mint fudge cookie given with the bill was delicious!

Dean Lane dining is a rare find! It excels in every way a restaurant possibly could: a warm welcome from co-owner Lisa; a beautiful interior with views of lush green lawn and trees; perfectly paced and friendly service; and of course, exquisite food. One of my main criteria when spending money to eat out is that the food is at least equal to — but hopefully better — than food my husband and I cook at home. I also prefer food at restaurants to be different than what we would make at home. Dean Lane met and surpassed these expectations. The prix fixe menu was made up of four courses with two choices per course, one of which was vegetarian. Each course was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor and texture. A great selection of wines as well as an optional wine pairing option to accompany the meal were offered. They also have cocktails and non-alcoholic selections. I honestly can’t think of the last time I’ve had such a perfect meal out.

One of the most unique and delicious meals I have ever had. The service was impeccable and every attention to detail was met. The calamari salad the duck was so delicious, that we wanted more and ended with an incredible peanut butter pretzel tarte! Can’t wait to visit again!

We had the opportunity to attend a dinner service at Dean Lane, and it was fantastic. We intend to return any time that we can. They offer a multi-course dinner style, typically around five, and each one was delicious. Additionally, they offer a wine pairing for each course, consisting of locally sourced wines. I quite enjoyed finishing the meal with a chocolate dessert and rich port. Their location is a little remote, but it’s not hard to get to from the Watkins Glen, and it helps make the dinner a little more peaceful.
We also had the opportunity to have Dean Lane cater our wedding, and that was also fantastic. Lisa was very helpful in answering all of our questions. They were receptive to any changes we wanted to make to our catering menu and also handled dessert. The food was, again, delicious and our guests (and other vendors) raved about it. Lisa was very helpful in keeping in touch throughout planning and very responsive. Also, while we kept the leftovers (why wouldn’t we? everything was amazing) they do offer to recycle it back into their farm (compost/animal feed) as opposed to just throwing it away. I would highly recommend them, as would many others, so be sure to book early.

Really cute spot with amazing food! We also got a wine pairing. The restaurant is really cute with an outdoor seating area as well surrounded by greenery. The food was amazing and at such a fair price! Service was amazing too. Would definitely go back if we visit the area again!
