5 Stars – Impeccable Fine Dining and Historic Charm at Seven Springs

Helen’s Restaurant truly lives up to its exceptional reputation and is a mandatory culinary experience at Seven Springs. The atmosphere is refined and upscale, enhanced by the restaurant’s fascinating history as a former hunting lodge. The staff is not only courteous and friendly, but they are also eager to share the compelling stories behind this beautiful, historic space.

The food itself is nothing short of perfection. From the appetizers through to dessert, every dish was prepared flawlessly and delivered with precision. While Helen’s is certainly an investment, budgeting around $100 per person, we maximized the value by taking advantage of the Four Course Special. This option offers a wonderful taste of the menu’s best variations and is highly recommended for first-time visitors. For an unforgettable, high-end meal at Seven Springs, look no further than Helen’s.

We went for Valentine’s Day and I really enjoy it. The views are great and the food is amazing. My boyfriend really enjoyed the steak, it was tender! I got the trout and it was good

Helen’s is the best restaurant on the lodge! Chef Dave’s menu is stunning. Dax will give you the best service with great humor. All around an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back soon!

My husband and I went here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The food and service were outstanding! Our waiter was very attentive and he did a great job explaining. We got the 4 course meal. The clam bisque was flavorful and the presentation was impressive. It came in a bowl with just the clam and waffle sticking out of the bowl and then the waiter poured the soup in our bowl out of a hot pot. My husband who is not a fan of salads, ate the spring fin and feather. My filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, just as I requested. My favorite part is always dessert and I almost didn’t have enough room to finish the chocolate blitz. The ambience in the room we were placed in was perfect for a romantic meal. I had the strawberry lemon margarita and my husband had a Maple Syrup Manhattan. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delicious dinner experience!

Reserved a table with a request to have a quiet location, we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day. The meal was a disaster from the very beginning. Our table was near a serving station, it was loud, and there were bustling servers going by us constantly. The food was mediocre, especially considering the price. When we ordered a refill on a glass of wine it didn’t arrive until we asked for it two more times. For a restaurant that was so highly touted, it was an extremely disappointing experience.

Helen’s Restaurant Review

From the moment we stepped into Helen’s, I knew we were in for a truly unforgettable experience, one that would undoubtedly rank among the top five restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with live piano music setting the tone next to the bar area, and we talked with the general manager, Annie, who helped make our experience so amazing.

We initially stopped in for a quick drink before dinner, but the charm of the place was so captivating that we ended up staying for over an hour, indulging in some exquisite food and drink. The large picture windows offered breathtaking views of the slopes, and Annie introduced us to one of the servers, Dax, who graciously offered us a tour of the restaurant, revealing its rich history as the original home of the owners of Seven Springs. His storytelling was exceptional, and as he recounted tales from the 1800s and 1900s. I felt a deep connection to the home/restaurant.

The pictures are of the original chandelier, fireplace, wood, and master bedroom in a loft area, as well as the natural springs outside the back windows. Although we hadn’t planned on eating, the sweet couple next to us raved about the crab bisque, and I knew I had to try it. Jeff’s choice of the Helen’s bourbon was a heartfelt tribute to his mom (even though she never swore or drank, lol).

As we enjoyed our drinks and soup, we chatted with the staff who were all just so kind and engaging, all while being serenaded by the piano player whose melodies filled the air with an enchanting atmosphere. Jeff asked me to dance right in the middle of the restaurant, and it was a truly unforgettable moment.

I was so impressed with the crab soup that we returned the following day, and added the octopus soup, which was to die for. The mousse and fresh fruit was delish! Everything was just perfect and Jeff and I said, we have to come back each year!

5 ⭐️’s! So magical!

The atmosphere is perfect with the mountain view. The waiter was personable and knowledgeable. The bread was tender but yet has not flavor(butter plain) The appetizer we ordered was the Veal stuffed mushrooms and this is the one everyone should try. Our dinner orders were the Chef’s feature Flatbread, Braised Short Ribs, and Chilean Sea Bass Oscar. My opinion is if your chef would flavor a little more you would probably have a 5* rating from everyone. The mashed potatoes were so blain I asked for more butter to finish them. My husband didn’t finish his risotto, however I do think more sauce would have helped. We thoroughly enjoyed the piano player. Yes our table tipped him

Delicious food and adorable cozy atmosphere.
Our server shared a bit of history about the restaurant in regards to the crab bisque being the same family recipe for 40+ years. It was divine, and i certainly recommend it.
The lobster rav (shrimp&scallops) dish was incredible, and the snickerdoodle creme brulee was delightful.

they should fix the POS system for the combo choice for kitchen timing purposes, so the whole table doesn’t have to do it. Perhaps an upgrade through your merchant services is in order.

Atmosphere great but food awful. (Or at least don’t order what we had: the shepherds pie or the trout.)

Really neat upscale dining option at 7 Springs. The restaurant is an old cabin that was converted but still has features of the cabin.
