Stopped by Cracker Barrel for the first time and I totally get why it’s so popular. The atmosphere is cozy and unique, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The food was fresh, comforting, and tasted like real home-style cooking. Great portions, great value, and everything came out hot and exactly how we hoped. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Corn muffins were hard, burnt, rocks. Mash potatoes cold, stiff, and smothered in gravy, lite gravy was requested, green beans and carrots were crumbs. Sent food back twice. Meat loaf was sold out, ordered country steak, it was hard and crispy, same mash potatoes cold and stiff. My family completed their meal, and after sending food back twice, I was done. This was not our usual experience.

Holy cow Cracker Barrel took a turn for the worst. The menu is so small and all the items for breakfast are the same. Pancakes, meat and eggs. I got the “breakfast sandwich” which only came with egg and tomato. Bacon is $3 and cheese is $1.50. On a breakfast sandwich??? My husband for biscuits and gravy. The gravy doesn’t have sausage and they give you sausage patties?!! The coffee pot they use to refill your mug leaks and the server complained about it after it poured on my husbands leg. The menu is so small and lack luster.

My wife and I have gotten many carryout orders from this location. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but tonight was horrible and inexcusable.
I’ve never seen so few cars in the parking lot, so why were our two meals, which we paid over $38 for, cold, really cold?
Since prices do not fluctuate with the quality of food or service, it may be time to stabilize your prices and level them out with the low quality of the food you serve.

I don’t know what is happening with takeout lately, but this is getting ridiculous. My mom comes home only to find out something she paid for wasn’t in the bag. Then, I open the bags of cornbread, and they look like this! Unacceptable. Your location is not easy to get to at all and I’m very upset my mother — after a long day at work — had to go back out in traffic. I understand mistakes happen, but I’ve been disappointed for the last time.
EDIT: Tasted the cornbread today. They’re barely edible. They’re salty, bitter, and grainy. My mom had to buy replacements from the store — which were much better. This is restaurant quality? I’ll pass.

Excellent place for breakfast. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the pancakes were fluffy, and the bacon was crispy without being overdone. Portions were generous, and everything came out quickly. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it a great spot to start the day. I’d definitely come back for breakfast again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. We all ordered something different. We ordered a BLT with a side of hashbrown casserole, pancakes topped with fried apples and whipped cream, and chicken fried steak with gravy and a side of carrots. It was all very good and our waitress was attentive.
We also enjoyed looking around the gift shop. Cracker Barrel always has unique items for sale.

Really Great experience here at Cracker Barrel (Valrico). From the moment we arrived, Arleen Milan greeted us with a smile and impeccable kindness in the store area and make you feel comfortable to shop in this beautiful place. Then we went into the restaurant area our waitress Magdalena (Maggy) gave us excellent customer service, providing great attention and kindness and offering menu recommendations in both languages English and Spanish. Give them both a raise!!!
