I’m a local who has eaten tacos from coast to coast and I know what makes a good taco. These are good but not great, the meats themselves don’t have a lot of flavor. If you’re in the area absolutely stop in, but if you’re in Smithfield, Raleigh, Clayton area there are definitely better options for you. Service was fine and friendly and they have a small but nice outdoor seating area.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. My husband, our children & I like to eat out once a week. About a year and a half or so ago, not long after we moved to four oaks, we decided to give this place a try. We have been in a chokehold ever since. We often break our “take out once a week only” rule and go for seconds! We’d probably be even worse than that if they were open on weekdays, too! Thank God for our wallets sake they are only open Fri-Sun! The quesabirria is fantastic. I’m not going to say it’s the best one I’ve ever had because there is one other that did beat it, but my husband & I keep coming back for it! It is simply delicious! The agua de horchata is AAAAAAMAZINGGGGGG. That one definitely cannot be defeated. It is simply the best around, and I’ve been around! The tacos are great as well. Asada, Al pastor, pollo… they are all good! Makes you feel like you’re at a party at your Suegro/a’s house and they’re serving you tacos straight off the grill! Don’t even get me started on the esquites… my husband and I tear them UP! The people who own and operate Antojitos are very friendly, and we have never once had any trouble with order accuracy, missing items, impoliteness or anything of the sort! There is a very cute little seating area outside where you can sit and enjoy your food right in the heart of Four Oaks on a nice warm day. It’s a total vibe! They’ve decorated it so cute with the string lights, too! They are a small business, family owned, and who better to give your money to than someone who is a part of your local community? Someone who has built something so special and unique? I’d give them all my money if I could! It’s THAT good!
If only they could add churros to the menu… that is our one lil thing that’s missing! We have no other complaints! We love this place and will be going back, week after week, for as long as they are open or as long as we live here! Definitely stop by and give this place a try! Haters are always gonna hate… if you’re looking for a “Mexican restaurant” where you’re eating taco salads and all of that, this is not what you’re going to be looking for lol . Nah, if you want the REAL deal, to taste the flavors of some of the best food cravings mexican food has to offer, Antojitos Tapatios is the ONLY place in Four Oaks you want to go to! Give them a try, be kind to the people who make your food, and tip them if you enjoyed your food! They never miss! Support your local small business owners!!!

YUM YUM YUM! Me & my siblings decided to come here for a late supper & we were definitely not disappointed! The food was EXCELLENT. We got a little bit of everything. Two chicken quesadillas, one beef quesadilla, one chicken taco & a mocha milkshake. (Milkshake was a solid 100/10) The atmosphere is so pleasant. Nice music not too loud, umbrellas over the picnic tables, & pretty lights strung about — only downside about the atmosphere is it IS right beside the road. The service is beyond nice here also. 100% would recommend. 🙂

Tried this place for lunch and had to get it again for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our tacos (chicken is our favorite). The rice had great flavor and texture, though a little light on salt (nothing you can’t fix yourself if needed, but I prefer that over being too salty). Definitely suggest a visit. Be sure to bring cash or be ready to use Cash App. Tax is added to prices on menu.

This place is amazing.
Have driven by it several times wanting to stop and try it and was disappointed for not stopping sooner! The steak tacos are the best I’ve had! I’m excited to try more things from their menu. It’s become my favorite place around to go to!

This place is AWESOME! My wife and I stopped in a beekeeping store that’s just down street. When I was checking out I asked the owner where we should eat. He told us to eat at this Mexican place. If he hadn’t recommended it I never would have stopped there, but WOW! The food is delicious!

There’s no indoor seating. They serve the food through a window and there are some picnic tables in front where you can eat. Look at the pics of the menu I posted. The food is cheap! And did I say it’s delicious?!?!?!?

The food was so cheap that I bought way more than I could eat. But then I ate it anyway. I got a steak quesadilla, a steak taco, and a braised beef taco. The braised beef was amazing! I wish I had gotten that on the quesadilla. My wife got a marinated pork quesadilla, which was also delicious, but when I go back, which I definitely will, I’m getting a braised beef quesadilla and probably a steak taco.

Oh yeah… we also got the nachos with cheese and jalapenos. They were OK, and for $5 they were a steal, but the chips aren’t homemade like everything else they serve. They were fine, and we ate most of them, but that was the only thing that was so-so (hint to the owners: when I was a teenager I worked at a little Mexican place in New Mexico. We made our tortilla chips fresh by cutting corn tortillas into 6 pieces, deep frying them, then sprinkling them with seasoned salt. They were awesome. They would be a big upgrade to your chips, and probably cheaper to make. Try it!).

Unfortunately this restaurant is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But if you’re driving on I-95 on one of those days, you should definitely stop there. You won’t regret it. And if you live anywhere nearby, I’m sure you know how good this place it.

Food delicious, service quick, and prices reasonable. Ashame that it’s so close to the road, but they’ve made an effort to improve the atmosphere so it passes, just a tad loud. Well maintained picnic tables with umbrellas provided a comfortable place for us to eat. 9/10 overall, I’ll be returning to support this small business.

My husband and I stopped here while traveling and had a warm and welcoming experience. The food tastes fresh and homemade. We even ordered extra tacos because they were so good! The prices are also extremely affordable. The family that owns this business was so kind and even brought us out a space heater while we were eating. We will definitely be back!
