Rattlesnake-themed eatery serving up a seafood-centric menu of Mexican classics in a simple setting.

If you are going there at night, it is a little hard to find. The place is tucked in the back of another business. The service was amazing, very attentive, polite and well informed on the menu. The drinks were really good. Giving it 4starts because the food was good (except the cheese fondue) but the portions were small. I had the carnitas, was good but a little on the sweet side for me. Same with the mole potatoes, good buy on the sweet side. My wife had the lobster tacos, and she said it needed salt, however they did taste fresh. Cascabel puts their own twist to Mexican dishes, so if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is not the place.

First time here, recommended by a friend. Got there close to opening so we were the only ones at the bar. Tyler, our bartender was great from beginning to end. Friendly and attentive and as the bar started getting more crowded, he always made sure to check on everyone. Fredo the cook is amazing. I don’t use this word often, but I think he’s a genius in the kitchen. And I hope she forgives me for forgetting her name, but it was a lady that I believe her name started with an “A”, however, the attention she was giving to the glasses to make sure they were clean and dry was fantastic!! Definitely going back.

My family and I love this spot. We even went back a week later after our first visit to try other items. The restaurant is hidden (you walk up and alley to get there) since it looks like a back house and its surrounded by density offices. We found it because it was advertised in the Taluka Times.
Fantastic food! Super fresh and delicious variety of flavors. The first time I got the branzino and the second time I shared three different tacos with my mom. We also tried desserts and drinks. The chips and tortillas are house made and it shows, they are wonderful!
Service was also friendly and informative. Our server was super helpful and made everything sound delicious!
The restaurant atmosphere is also beautiful, with fun designs on the walls and pleasant seating. There is lots of indoor seating, bar seating, and an outdoor patio.
Great spot to bring friends, family or a date. We were very pleased both times we went and definitely plan to go again!

This may well be the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. It is gourmet. The food is amazing.
For those that follow my occasional reviews, check this place out when in NoHo, you will not be disappointed.
The photo says it all!

Food was perfect. We ordered four items: kale and beet salad, steak tacos, mushroom tacos, and pork carnitas. Every item was delicious.
Warming: the salad was fairly big, bit the main dishes are small. And we are most definitely not big eaters.

Made a reservation on a whim and was not disappointed. Great tasting cocktails, apps and entrees. Our server gave great suggestions. The place had an intimate vibe and cool aesthetics. Chips and salsa also a nice touch, but could have had a bit more flavor. Looking forward to going back.

Very beautiful restaurant! And perfect for date night. Our server Jason was amazing and helped us make our decisions for dinner and dessert. We started with the mushroom and kale flauntas chips salsa and guacamole it was all really good. For entrees we had fried chicken tacos with the hot honey sauce and it was good and also the short rib tacos which were AMAZING!!!! The meat was seasoned so good and very tender. The tortillas you can tell are made fresh and in house. They were so good. We ended with dessert the crustless apple pie it was ok should have gone with the flan. I can’t wait to come back here. We went around 430 and we were the only ones in the restaurant but around 530 it started to get busy and a little louder. Loved the ambience it was so romantic dimmed lights and intimate.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food, drinks, and service (usually) is incredible. Also love the unique vibe of the restaurant and how “hidden gem” it feels. However, more than once now they have started to close earlier than their listed hours. I understand closing the kitchen a little early, but tonight upon arrival at 8:45 their kitchen was closed even though their hours state that they close at 10 pm. The reason was because it was “slow” yet there were around 7 parties seated. I do not appreciate them wasting our time and they should really update their hours to prevent this from happening.
