Us. The staff was very nice and greeted everyone kindly. There was a good variety of food. The bread did take a little while to Come Out but everyone was pleased with the bread being hot! The food was good and there was ability to make changes to selections to accommodate eating preferences. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. There was lots of options for Cheese cake as well!
Topped it off with a margarita which was also very good!! My server was great!
From the beginning, service was incredibly slow. Our alcoholic beverages took a very long time to arrive despite there being multiple associates on the floor and no one sitting at the bar.
When ordering food, we were told several items were out of stock. My granddaughter ordered pickle fries and they were unavailable. My daughter ordered a pasta dish that was also unavailable. She was offered an alternative, only for a manager to come over and inform her that option was out of stock as well. At that point, it was clear there were major kitchen or inventory issues.
When the food finally arrived, no one returned to check on our table. Considering the ordering issues, you would think someone would have followed up & checked in to overcome the experience we had received. Because of this, we were not able to provide feedback until the very end when our waitress came back to ask if we wanted dessert.
My mother’s meatloaf was severely overcooked, and her mashed potatoes were literally cold and frozen. The waitress did apologize and admitted that multiple guests had been sending the mashed potatoes back all night due to them being cold or frozen. That alone is concerning.
We asked to speak with a manager due to the overall experience. Unfortunately, he seemed unsure how to handle the situation. I ultimately had to request that my mother’s meal be removed from the bill because it was inedible. Not a single person at our table finished their meal or even came close.
To make matters worse, after we left, my daughter realized she had accidentally left her phone behind. She immediately called the restaurant. The person who answered was passive aggressive and repeatedly told her she could not confirm whether they had the phone and that even if they did, we would not be able to retrieve it until 11:30 the next morning, even though they had just closed.
We explained that we do not live in the area and was already turning around. After putting her on hold, she confirmed they had the phone but again insisted we could not pick it up because they were closed. My daughter was not asking to come, she simply was asking for someone to bring the phone outside if possible. The tone remained dismissive and unhelpful & i will admit my daughter became increasingly upset and told her the manager needed to reevaluate his hiring and training and to fix it, the associate then hung up on her.
Eventually, we were able to retrieve the phone. However, when we got it plugged in, we discovered the device was damaged and no longer functioning properly. The screen was completely whitened halfway through enabling being able to do anything & then the phone eventually turned completely black. I encourage someone to check the cameras here to determine what was done if it was in sight of the cameras. I cannot say exactly what happened, but it was not damaged prior to being left there, and she had to purchase a new phone the night after, Thursday evening.
I have contacted corporate and am considering filing a police report, honestly, regarding the damage. We paid $274 for dinner that no one enjoyed or ate other than the salads, then had to purchase a brand new phone. All over a negative experience in this establishment.
I have never experienced such poor service, lack of accountability, and overall mishandling of a situation at any establishment before. This was beyond disappointing & none of us will ever be returning which is very unfortunate being we’ve had great experiences before.
