Visited this restaurant with my family on a busy Sunday dinner time. Despite the rush and the posh crowded locality, we were lucky to get a table without waiting. We ordered a variety of items, including Tikka Pizza, Stuffed Chicken with Pineapple Sauce, Chicken Malai Handi, Chicken Tawa Qeema, and the Pakistani VIP Deal (which came with several dishes plus dessert).
Overall, the taste was good and the ambience was amazing, though a bit on the noisy side. The prices were somewhat high, but the food quality was good.
The standout dish for us was the Chicken Tawa Qeema — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. They could improve further by adding more desi options and making the prices a bit more economical.

I really enjoyed the stuffed chicken with pineapple sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the pineapple sauce gave it a unique and delicious twist. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully served. Definitely one of the best items on the menu.

We ordered the Pakistani Delux and Chinese platter. The wait time for food was above 10-15 minutes and it was absolutely fresh. The naan, raita and salad was also top notch. The ambience is great but it can still be improved if they want to. The place is usually filled at lunch time on weekdays. The staff is quite friendly and considerate.

My recent visit to Salt n Pepper Gulberg was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expected, especially considering the reputation of the Salt n Pepper brand. From the moment I walked in, the experience went downhill.
Service:
The staff was completely inattentive. Despite waiting for a long time to place my order, they continued to ignore me and acted as if they were deliberately avoiding taking my order. There was no courtesy, no acknowledgment, and no effort to manage customers properly. It felt unprofessional and frustrating, especially when you’re clearly waiting and expecting basic service.
Food Quality:
The food was another major letdown. The taste, quality, and presentation were all far below expectations. I’ve eaten at their Packages Mall branch before, and the food there is significantly better. Comparing the two, the Gulberg branch feels like a completely different—and much poorer—version of the brand. Nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared, and overall it felt like a waste of money.
Final Verdict:
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Lahore. Poor service, poor food, and absolutely no value for the amount you pay. I would strongly advise not to waste your hard-earned money here. If you want a proper Salt n Pepper experience, their other branches are far better. Unfortunately, the Gulberg branch is simply not worth visiting.
