The name, Colonial Coffee Shop, is a bit of a misnomer. Colonial is a diner, not a coffee shop. If coffee is your objective, do not expect exquisite blends and custom mixes – you will get pretty typical diner coffee.
However, if you keep your expectations aligned, you will find yourself pleased by the excellent food, friendly and homey atmosphere, and the outstanding wait staff. We had typical breakfast with coffee. Our waitress was attentive, and the food was prompt and tasty. We were on our way to work, so we needed a quick meal, and Colonial delivered perfectly.

Such a sweet little place. The atmosphere is relaxed yet busy. The food is fantastic, and the portions are just right. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the food came out in a timely manner. Very clean. That must be why people like it because the prices were higher than the local diners with sub-par food. Not kid friendly. You have to twist their arm for spoon and crackers for soup, extra napkins, and water refills. Take your hard earned money somewhere else.
