Sketchy, Decent Flavors

Quite possibly the sketchiest Chinese restaurant in Greenville, but the food itself wasn’t terrible. The flavors were solid enough, though nothing that really stood out. The fried rice was loaded with massive onion chunks and not much else in the way of vegetables, which threw off the balance. I also ended up waiting 20–30 minutes for a simple order, which felt excessive. Portions didn’t quite justify the price, and honestly, the atmosphere alone makes it hard to want to return. Order ahead and pick up as quick as you can if you want a decent bite of Chinese food, but I’d say there are better options in town.

Best chinese take out in Greenville. Good portions, better quality than other take outs. Price is reasonable. Atmosphere is what it is, but obviously one is there for the food, not the atmosphere. They are nice and to the point.
General Tso and Orange Chicken are great. I tried their Szuchuan beef and i didnt see szuchuan peppercorns. I had asked for it to be extra spicy but it was pretty mild.
Normally, their food is popping with flavor so I expect that is a one off. This is the only Chinese i recommend alongside Asia Pacific.

Ordered on Thanksgiving night. Took a chance from the reviews on here and UberEats and we were very happy with everything!! Definitely will order again next time I am in the area.

We ordered Christmas dinner for our family group of 14, not many places open so we decided on Chang An.

It was a decent 3.5 overall

First impression: it looks like a typical fast food Chinese spot we see in NYC. Straightforward take-out-place decor. They did have cute Chinese 2022 calendar scrolls for customers. There were plenty of customers for 7:30pm on a Christmas night.

Service: Nothing special to note.

Food: mixed reviews from family members.

Chicken Fried Rice-only onions and chicken. Nothing special. Tasted fine. Clear chicken stock flavor. Perhaps a Little underwhelming

Mongolian Beef-very tasty.

Orange Beef-tasty. Held its breading well

Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s-the same damned dish, one has sesames sprinkled on it. These dishes did not hold their breading well and were soggy. Flavor wise was underwhelming but was ok.

Pepper Steak-good flavor and sauce, but the beef was tough.

Chicken with broccoli-more veg than protein. Ok flavor overall.

Fried Dumplings-very soggy but great flavor. Fried food should not be that soggy. Dipping sauce was standard.

Egg Rolls-soggy and chewy. We’d avoid this.

White Rice-hard to mess this up. It was what you’d expect from of white rice.

Overall: it wasn’t bad. Didn’t blow our minds but it was to be honest better than we had expected. Family members went back for second and thirds. You should know that the large portions are huge, enough for 3 people. We ordered way too much food. Another point to note is that our “spicy” dishes were very mild. We’d go back under the same or similar circumstances.

This place is pretty Disgusting, aesthetically speaking. The bathrooms are a joke, stink like cigarettes and look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The place looks run down and basically 0 customer service. Pictures dont do justice. Food preparers hair not covered.

No disrespect to Greenville (we love it here) but as a native New Yorker it is difficult to find Chinese food that we enjoy but this spot beats even the best Chinese restaurants in NY.

I ordered on Uber Eats. The driver had another order to deliver on his way and when I finally got our food (in Simpsonville) the food was still perfectly hot and everything was absolutely delicious! ‍ Highly recommend

The first time coming here, they gave us a walk through on how hot pot works. While selecting our food from the buffet, our server prepared Korean BBQ for us at the table. Great service! Great selection of foods to put into your pot! We keep coming back to try different flavor combinations.

Amazing experience! Soooo delicious!

The food was sooooooo good! Friendly cashier. Prices good and fast service. Restaurant could use some major TLC and upgrades to make the place a bit more appealing. Not really somewhere to sit in and eat. I definitely recommend for take out though. Will be back 🙂
