Visiting Ketchem. Server Rick recommended the meatloaf and veggie burger. Both were the Best we have ever eaten!! Everything perfectly prepared and served. Excellent flavor and texture. We look forward to coming back!!

I’ve been coming up to Ketchum for most of my life, but somehow only made it to the Sawtooth Club this year. FANTASTIC food! I wish I’d visited sooner, and that I had more time. Literally everything on the menu looked great, but I ended up getting the flat iron steak. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Another person in my group got the ribeye special with morel mushrooms, which was also really good. We also got a bunch of desserts to share. They were all delicious, but the brownie with ice cream was the favorite of the night. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. They also had this cool-looking wood carving/sculpture hanging from the ceiling, which we learned was made from a single piece of wood. Prices were about what I expected – it was a little bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it.

The restaurant is very nice inside with a great atmosphere. The service was absolutely amazing—our waitress was attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel taken care of. The cocktails were outstanding and definitely a highlight of the visit.

That said, the food took about 45 minutes to come out, and unfortunately my salmon was undercooked. The wild rice was also lukewarm when it arrived. While the food missed the mark this time, the excellent service and drinks made the experience better overall. I’d be open to giving it another try based on the service alone.

I had the steamers to start; both clams and broth were good. I had the Idaho trout with rice; trout was moist and flavorful. My wife had the filet with garlic mashed potatoes. The filet was very tender and the broccolini was delicious.

This restaurant has friendly staff and a good atmosphere. We were not so amazed by the tuna starter, which didn’t taste much like tuna. All the mains however were well prepared and had a good taste, also the vegetarian option. The restaurant has a broad selection of wine and beers. We did encounter some issues with paying, all but one of all our creditcards were declined. No paying by phone was possible.

Loved this place. When I called to book a reservation and shared I was visiting from Chicago, the owner, Tom, was kind enough to make suggestions of places to see in Ketchum. He is an old school restaurant owner that seems to care about the dining experience of his patrons. You can tell just by viewing the Sawtooth menu. The Steamer Clams over linguine was amazing. Red trout was excellent. The restaurant has three floors of rustic supper club style decor. Cheery waitstaff and relaxed atmosphere. Must visit.

The restaurant itself is fun and has a nice atmosphere. Sadly, my food was dangerously bad. Found pieces of metal in my Ahi Tuna appetizer and my trout was incredibly raw inside. Our waitress didn’t check back until my husband was completely finished and then offered to have the kitchen cook it for longer. At this point with two bad dishes, I just gave up and had her take it away.
** read their reply. The waitress even saw the metal piece. It was not a bone. The waitress even agreed the fish was raw in the middle. We were there with others at 2 different tables and they agreed trout should be cooked all the way through. There was also no way we miss took the piece of metal for a bone. Nice try to discredit my review.

2025 update, this is a must visit. The food is so consistent and delicious!! This year, clams good, Filet was perfect, Chiken Senegalese beyond scrumptious, cant fit in desert sadly….maybe a bite Great food, good variety of options and everyone will enjoy. Strongly recommend the Chicken Senegalese and lamb chops. It can be noisy and crowded, worth the wait
