Took my wife here…finally. True Italian restaurant. I resisted the urge to order lasagna and I tried the “Veal St Charles”. It was excellent! Now I need to go back and try their lasagna for sure. My wife loved her “Chicken Marsala” with a passion. Our server or servers were just great. A must try.

The service is top notch, food is absolutely delicious, and the dining room is very beautiful with a romantic setting! I recommend the veal Parm! Icing on the cake, the prices are great as well! 10/10 recommend and best Italian food I’ve ever had.

I don’t write reviews often but felt that I needed to write one about our dinner last night at Vincent’s. We live near Baton Rouge and were in town for a doctor’s appointment and decided to get dinner before driving home. I searched for Italian and found Vincent’s and am so glad that I did. I worked in the service industry for many years and the service was welcoming and professional. We were well taken care of despite there being several tables of regulars dining in. Austin was our server and was excellent. I did not catch the name of the young lady that was assisting him (I believe that she was like an old-school “back wait” but am not sure.) but she was wonderful as well.
The only thing that could top the service was the food and it did not disappoint. My wife had the parmesan crusted fish and I had the shrimp tagliatelle. The sauce with the tagliatelle is probably the greatest sauce that I have ever tasted in my life. We finished with creme brulee and a cannoli both of which were exceptional. The creme brulee had lots of vanilla and was the perfect consistency as creme brulee can often become eggy but this one was the perfect custard.
We made the hour drive home in the rain with full stomachs fighting to remain awake. One of the best meals that I have had in a long time. We will most definitely be returning when we visit the Metairie/NOLA area. I sure wish that you guys would open a location in Baton Rouge because there are very few top-tier Italian restaurants in the capital city.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

I usually enjoy my experience here at Vincent’s, but was disappointed with my service and the Server Josh P this past Saturday night. I ordered under the Meat dishes Bracialani, but got mostly Pasta and red sauce. I mentioned it to him and his attitude was very rude and basically told me that is how it is served. If I go back, I will request him NOT to be my server.

Absolutely spectacular experience that was well worth the $25 Uber from downtown New Orleans. Met some good friends that have been there many times and will absolutely go back. Thoroughly enjoyed the seafood stuffed breaded in fried pork chop. Had some of the duck as well. It was glorious. Tried the chocolate mousse cake and had an Irish coffee. Everything was just fantastic. The service was exquisite as well. Oh definitely try the crab claws and appetizer ! We had Nathan as a server and would like for him to wait on us again.

Wait staff professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Food was very good. Just me and wife and got a generous amount of hotel butter with our bread. We ordered artichoke Vincent, it was excellent I highly recommend. I ordered canneloni and my wife got the veal picata both were very good. I had pink peppermint ice cream for dessert, it was fantastic. We will definitely go back.

Let me say…Yum..yum..yum. Great old Italian Restaurant with excellent tasting food. I gave 4 stars on service because they did not have enough servers for a Tuesday night. I overheard the Maitre de tell another couple they were dead the last Tuesday so they didn’t schedule many servers for this Tuesday and they were slammed. Well hiw about you always be ready with staff and then send home if you aren’t busy. Anyways, our service was slow…we had tonask for most everything and while we weren’t in a big hurry at 7:30 at night we were the last to leave at closing. Our food was amazing and the atmosphere is even better. They have cute little bread sticks at your table with this amazing garlic butter so this was our saving grace as it took awhile to get out food which was kind of okay because you don’t feel like your meal is shoved at you to hurry. Overall it was wonderful and I would go back again. Bread is so yummy, and the calamari was perfect.

My daughters, and their husbands grandchildren and my sister celebrated my 80th birthday at Vincent’s so all ages from 6 to 80 were dining.I got the Italian salad and classic spaghetti and meatballs. Fabulous. They loved the Bisque in bread bowls, calamari, chicken Alfredo, eggplant parm and veal parm.as well as Bordelaise pasta. They brought a cake to the restaurant and our wonderful servers attended to everyone so cheerfully
There were 11 of us and I highly recommend Vincent’s for special memories.

Definitely not the best Italian food I’ve had in town.. that would be Mandina’s. Everything we had was just okay, from the bread to the chicken parm. Host asked me to remove my hat upon entering – they really go for that ‘upscale’ vibe. Reasonably priced food, and good portion size.
