Mayra’s Kitchen was a location that I would drive past many times on my way home. I had always wanted to try it out, so I went for breakfast to see how it was.
The first thing that struck me when I walked inside was the atmosphere. It felt very homely, and looked stylish with its wall decorations. The music playing in the background was nice, and the interior lighting and air temperature was just right. Service was prompt and friendly, and the menu was more diverse than I expected.
The food though….the food was excellent! I had pancakes with fruit, and a few breakfast tacos. It was as if I went back in time to being a kid again, where I would visit my grandmother’s place and she would make me breakfast. It is very rare for me to feel nostalgia from eating food, so I am very impressed by what I ate.
I give this place 5-stars, and I will be coming back to taste more of their menu in the future.

We waited for our coffee for about 20 minutes; management said it was freshly brewed, so it would take some time. The coffee still had some grounds in it… It took about 20 minutes to get our order in and about 70 minutes to get our order. Everyone’s plate came at different times. I was done eating by the time my dad’s food arrived. The frijol and chorizo taco was plain frijol; it did not taste like chorizo at all. We tried to cancel a barbacoa taco that we had ordered due to it not coming out on time and they told us it was already served so we couldn’t cancel it. The barbacoa was bad btw. Overall, the food was mid. I highly doubt this restaurant will be successful… It was a disappointing experience, and I regret going on Father’s Day because I was expecting way better.

La comida está todo todo recién hecho te sirven un arroz con leche riquísimo con tu desayuno para endulzar tu mañana. Ordene un chile relleno mixto delicioso son su salsita roja casera decorado con cilantrito seco… una delicia La señorita que me atiendo muy amable y atenta. Pregunté por el cocinero y tuve el gusto de felicitarlo también. Todo está delicioso y recién hecho. 100% recomendado. Hablen todos los días y también en las noches viernes y sábado.

Yo en lo particular quede encantada con las atenciones del personal,…y La cómida riquísima! primero nos dan una sopita de fideo con frijolitos con sus respectivos totopos y las salsitas mmm me acuerdo y me saboreo todabia!!… y luego ya llegó mi plato fuerte de enchiladas callejeras con sus papás y zanahoria con sus frijolitos y arrozito recomendadas!!…. Gracias!!
