Great experience. I really like the atmosphere and the people. Coming in here from out of town service was outstanding and the drinks were well made. A good selection of beers on tap. The food was warm and fresh and tasted good. No complaints at all will return next time in town. Maybe I’ll try to get my punch card filled in next time.

I’ve been in town a week and spent time in here every day. There’s nothing bad on the menu and a lot of stuff is top tier. Friday Fish Fry was probably my favorite day.

I always have the best experiences at Tanners. We utilize the shuttle to and from the Packers games. They’re always on their A game running that, making sure everyone is accounted for and the bar is open for Bloody Mary’s the morning of!
The food and service has always been great every time we come. Most recently, the place was pretty packed after we all just returned from the game on the bus. I would’ve understandably expected wait times to be longer. But the servers were amazingly attentive and food came out so quick!

Super attentive and friendly staff. I had the salmon salad and the wife had the club wrap. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the greens in the salad were all crisp and fresh. The wrap had generous portions of turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. We have never been disappointed with the food, service, and atmosphere at this place!

First time at tanners and the last. Husband and I went in and were seated right away. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip which was the best part. Went downhill from there lol we got the jalapeño ranch chicken tacos & clubhouse sandwich. The tacos were cold, cheese wasn’t melted and the chicken felt like rubber, also cold. The sandwich was okay, but way too much butter on the bread which made it too rich personally. Our waitress was hopefully have a bad day because it was awful service. She barely let us answer her questions, was condescending and rude. Gave us a “discount” for the tacos being cold, it was a $1 off… (which could be out of her control but still) We were there a total of 30 minutes which to me is also a red flag. Too fast for the food to come out and not cooked properly. Horrible food, horrible service. Seemed like a cool place and pictures from other reviews seemed promising.. don’t be fooled.

Enjoyed our first dinner here. Pizza has a sweet sauce and it’s great imo. Pike for the fish and chips was a nice change, where we live it’s haddock. The farmhouse burger was delicious according to the teenage son.

We initially went to Texas Road House but the place was packed and the wait was going to be an hour (which was totally understandable-it was right at dinnertime). We had 4 hungry kids so we stood outside trying to find another place to go to asap. A gentleman walking by asked if we were from around here, which we told him we weren’t and he suggested we come here to Tanner’s. I did a quick Google search and saw pictures that looked pretty good so we came right over. The place was also packed and the hostest asked how many was in our party. I told her 6 and she scanned to see barely any tables open. She asked if we’d rather eat in the private dinner room which we were more than happy about! The waitress was super sweet and amazing! The food was phenomenal!! It’s hard to find new places with food that’s actually great, so this bar and grill was a really good find!! We all tried different kinds of things from the menu and none of it disappointed! Thank you! We look forward to visiting again when we’re in town!

My husband and I love coming to tanners! The food is always great, we’ve never had a bad meal here. The one thing that always makes our experience top notch and makes us come back is Morgan, she never misses a beat, our drinks are always full and she has very good recommendations on what to order! Always has a positive attitude and smile! She is definitely an asset to the tanners team! We will always ask for her!

Service was alright. She came soon after we were seated, drinks came in a decent amount of time, food took a bit longer, took a while to get the check but she was getting drinks for a really large group. My advise for her would be not to walk away so fast when checking your tables.
Food was just okay. The grilled Chicken salad was good with many toppings but too many toppings that took away from it being a leafy salad. My wife’s Ruben sandwich was good but very messy. It was really nice to have the option to get frys and onion rings but there both ended up not being very warm and kind of bland.
The atmosphere was really good. Lots of TV, music volume and choices of music were spot on. There were a decent amount of people there but the voices were not so loud I wouldn’t have a conversation with my wife. It’s decorated well with a good blance between family, sports, and hangout place.

We’ve tried this location twice. The food and service are always great but tonight I double checked the bill and they are beer scalpers. I got a single 16oz can of Walking Receipts, an imperial stout out of Young Blood in Madison. It was $13… you can by a 4 pack for $14.99 at Woodmans right around the corner.
