Stopped here on our Norwegian cruise, this stop was our last town and my partner and I decided to get some coffee and have some food, Angela was so sweet, the coffee is so good, and the food is fantastic, the coffee is locally roasted, and the creme brulee donut was exceptional! We also tried the Halibut Fish and Chips and a Scallop taco everything was so good and fresh. If you want good seafood, great service and warm coffee stop in downtown Ketchikan!

LOVED everything about this place!!! Service was awesome. The young man who served us was so lovely. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The chips are unreal and the breaded halibut was the best I have ever had. We loved it so much we came back in the afternoon for iced coconut coffees, also yum! Well done team, keep being awesome!

Eat here in Ketchikan!!! Definitely accurate 4.9 rating! They are new and FANTASTIC! The fish & chips are incredible and the fish tacos looked amazing. (The person next to us got them.)
This is where the locals are eating their fish & chips! It’s also less expensive than the other restaurants. It’s across from Berth 5 in the cruise dock. Very close and convenient.
Note: It’s the opposite direction from Creek Street. But
eat here and then head to the shops and historical features on the other side of town. Or eat here before getting back on board. It’s worth it!

Revised Aug. 15, 2025:
What locals want from dining establishments in town right now is consistency, and Timber & Tide has it! We’ve ordered the Halibut & Chips multiple times now and it’s consistently fantastic every time. The staff are also consistently fantastic too, haha!
Original:
The staff here is super friendly! This was my second time ordering the Halibut & Chips, and it didn’t disappoint. The halibut is incredibly fresh—definitely the best in town. The breading is spot on: perfectly crispy and not too thick. And the chips? So good. You can tell they’re made from hand-cut potatoes, crispy with just the right amount of coarse salt. The tartar sauce is excellent too—great flavor that pairs perfectly with the fish

Not the cheapest tacos you’ll ever eat, but definitely some of the best! Their blackened salmon and blackened shrimp tacos could not be any better. Is as if their flavors exploded with every bite, leaving you wanting more at the end of each one.
The Yeti is the perfect blend of caffeine, vanilla and caramel. The only thing I would change with it is the size. Give me that in a 44oz cup.
Looking for something sweet and diabolical? Crème Brûlée donut. Yes, I said it. Donut! It isn’t a treat. It’s an experience. Comes out piping hot and fresh from the oven, so give it a second to cool. Then be delighted by the flavors swirling in your mouth as you bite into sugary bliss.
If you find yourself in Ketchikan, find your way here. You will not regret it

I was so skeptical going into this centrally located restaurant but OMG was everything loaded with flavor! I had the fried fish tacos and half a crab. My wife ordered the chowder and it was impressive.
This is what I’ll remember as the true tastes of Alaska.
They were very accommodating to gluten-free with many options. But the true story is the seasonings. I had no idea Alaskans had their spices down like this! Highly recommend you give this spot a try!

We stopped here on port from a cruise for lunch, walking about town and I have to say, amazing. I had the golden Halibut and Spicy carnita tacos and my wife had the Dungeness Crab and all I can say is, if your visiting go to Timber and Tides. A little pricey but the tacos were a great size for lunch. The queso dip was awesome as well. 12/10 would highly recommend. A bonus it was a quick walk back to the peir to get back on the ship.

Ate here for lunch and the staff was so freindly and welcoming!!! We ordered our food then when you sit they bring it out to you. They checked on us and kept our drinks filled up. Everything was extremely high quality and delicious as well! The fish is local and very good! The blackened salmon and golden friend halibut tacos are an excellent choice you can’t go wrong with. The sauce was even house made and had incredible flavor and packed full of it! The nachos were very fresh, thick and crispy and had two perfect salsas to go with them!!!! I’d make sure to check this place out! Very clean with a great aesthetic too!
